After two years of reading comics I finally want to buy my first Omnibus. I put it down to either the Infinite crisis omni with CoIE (i did much pre-reading of old Flash, Green Lantern & JL-Stories for that) or the JLA by Morrison Omni (or the three books which I'd find better).

I've been thinking about it for some time now, I'm a student so an omnibus is quite an investment. I also want to take into account how re-readable the story on itself is

I recently finished the Black Casebook and I had a lot of fun with the stories collected in it.
It's the only pre-crisis stuff I've read, I read a ton of post-crisis stuff.

What Omnibus/TP collects some of the best "goofy" stuff from back then? Originally, I read the casebook with the intention of reading Morrison yet I really liked it more than I'd have thought. I know the Silver & Golden Age omnis yet I have no clue what is practically worth it.
