Got a John Deere 214 Lawn Tractor that would always burn oil terrible. I would run it for 2 hours and the oil would be gone. I stripped the mower down and pulled the motor. Just took the head off and this is what is left. I measured the bore and its 2.05mm with a 90mm anvil extender. It doesn’t make sense for a bore that should be 3.500. Should i hone and go .010 over or what. Also the valves look to be in bad shape. What should I do to get this thing to be reliable and not burn oil at all. Its a Kohler K321 14hp. Any help is greatly appreciated.
