2.0L 5s Manual

Hit a minor milestone while returning from a 2k mile roadtrip last weekend. We spent 4 days tearing up some logging roads in the U.P., put the car on a ferry for the first time, and scaled a couple “mountains” before making a 10hr drive home. All 4 nights were spent camping in the back of the hatch on a foam pad rather than pitching a tent; our bed and breakfast on wheels.

For those who are curious:
Original engine; second transmission.
Original transmission lasted until 385k miles.

No SP spent, no Laura Craft, just lots of my time sold to the game and I finished with a day to spare.

Tips: Use the 2.5 hour actions throughout the day and collect the bonus above your sims’ heads every 10 minutes as often as possible. 8.5 hour actions overnight when you’re sleeping. No, I did not collect every single bonus; I missed about two days of bonus collections over the course of the whole event because it’s impossible to be glued to the game 24/7 as an adult. When you have all the supplies but still need more constructor coins, keep making candles. Make sure to complete all daily goals for the bonus coins! Once you complete your goals for the day, save up your candles for the next day’s goals.

Disclaimer: I skipped the Sim Chase event as I don’t have enough sims to compete in both events at the same time.
