Transfem here to complain about how tankies have become dominant on literally any trans subreddit you can find on here. Got called a nazi for backing the democratic party and making fun of the rapture, i mean revolution that will inevitably, surely come any day now!!
It's so tiring going into online spaces and being told that the group of people directly responsible for my access to gender affirming healthcare and continued legal protections are actually super transphobic and want total trans death. Somehow the democratic party is defined by democratic nominees in swing states who try to appeal to moderates and all democrats are evil by association with this or calling Joe Biden a genocide supporter on the same tier as Adolf Hitler.
I try to remember that in real life, basically every transwoman I know is staunchly liberal (wonder why lmfao) and basically every transwoman I know online is a tankie. Just hoping it's only the terminally online and mentally ill who believe in these extremist, radical political systems.
