I received email today informing me I need to recertify my income. There's two weird parts to this

• "you have consented to let us automatically recertify your IDR plan. However, our system was unable to confirm your information. As a result, we can't automatically recertify your plan."

I wasn't enrolled in automatic recertification and I know I logged in earlier this year to confirm that option was unchecked.

• My official recertification date is November of this year. Why am I getting this email now?

Anyone else have experience in my shoes?

The email also doesn't state an exact date I need to recertify by. Only says "If you don't recertify your IDR plan by the required date communicated to you by your loan servicer, you will be removed from the current version of your IDR plan and assigned a payment amount that is not based on income and family size. This could significantly increase your monthly payments."

It doesn't look like spam and is from donotreply@studentaid.gov
