As the title says i wanna give the game a shot, never played it growing up looks fairly simple in terms of logging in and playing and wanna check the game out, from my understanding it seems like theres quite a different ways to play, if anyone has any idea what i should try as far as server or anything of that nature or new and beginner tips would be welcome!

I'm having a lot of trouble with episode 3 of Operation Dive. Over the course of the last week, I've gone back through ep3 to try completing it, holding up just about everywhere in the town and talking to every npc and attacking random spots in the town. It doesn't seem completable no matter what I do, I'm worried I soft locked it. What is supposed to be the intended route through the episode?

Curious about how much it actually effects earnings per 30 min vs farming without it

I have 200% drop rate, 0% meso, wondering if its worth swapping some lines/fishing for hybrids

Maerin : she's a cutie pie. Her dark soul music is an absolute banger. Even if I had failed few times prior because I was fighting min-cut, I enjoyed the boss fight a whole lot. The outfit is aesthetic. The cape is a must-have masterpiece that looks amazing no matter how you dye it. It looks like an upgraded version of the bloody cross cape in Master Bloody set. Her card weapon though is a missed opportunity. For some reason they had to give it black outline and now it looks like a cheap cardboard floating next to you. Hair and eyes are cute but well, need the right outfit for it. the outfit and you need to see the cape animated

Maerin boss : Pattern is a lot forgiving than Kai. Her spear attack is basically go other side and go back and go other side again. Eyes pattern is basically turn to her or turn back at her. Hurricane card pattern in P2 has a wind blow to push you. As a mage I just Ethereal form and wait in the gold circle to pass. The rest is damn intuitive. She has a long entry scene where she came in shy dere-dere and summoned cards before you can hit her. It's like Malefic Star but a lot longer entry sequence. On your burst 19:47 onwards.

Lethe: well after getting her spec'd up and got all the mastery cores and skill cores on, she's ok. If you are the scaredy cat kind of player, you might prefer this class. Let your summons gangbang the boss while you stood at corner dodging feels good. Most times you can just summon a fountain and hug the fountain. Survivability is good as you watch and dodge. In P3 Will you could take the upper right platform, do a fountain and just burn spider web nearby, and dodge yellow/red eye spider attack only. My brain had a good rest from the bossing fatigue on other characters.

Lethe Gameplay? The gameplay and Keybind are minimalistic, simple. Bind, on burst, spam the short CDs Templar & Cerberus skills till CD skip no longer proc > Azarath > Templar Onslaught and Cerberus Vargar Trident (V skills of them) > go back to Templar & Cerberus short CD skills. You should have about 7-8 seconds of RoR left, do an origin to wrap up. Yes to wrap up. You're done for your first burst. Btw you can press the two short CD skills together. And no, you can't press down and cast it. You have to stand to command your summons to attack. So yeah no cheesing slapping by Black Mage and poking by Seren. Well it's playable but there is room for improvement. If they could speed up summons attack for a brief while as burst I think it'll be a lot better.

Now let's talk about skills:
• Converge : this is a marking skill for bossing. Yes, like Corsair's continuous aiming, but this also serves as an important skill to "migrate" your summons in bosses with large maps and multi-terrains. Your Cerberus are grounded so if you don't want damage loss just because boss is upstairs and you're downstairs. Reapply Converge to boss so your dogs move directly to the boss again.

• Scatter : this is a mainly for hunting on / off skill. This should be off to prevent damage leakage to summons by bosses like Lucid's golem. If you need to clear them, only then you turn it on. Otherwise for bossing this is off. If you have it on, the Converged boss will be last attacked.

• Impel : the main "attacking" skill you've been seeing Korean streamers smashing like a fidget spinner out of habits despite it has no damage and only buffs your summons. Was it necessary to spam it? For min-maxing, actually yes, because of how Pell works. The little demon babies are spawned by 10% chance per attack. And you can only hold 10 of them at a time. They'll disappear after 3 hits each. If you buff them to attack faster, the Pell generation cycle is generally quickened. 맑음 actually tested it out. It makes about 3% final damage difference. Link

• Quell : your handbrake skill to stop your damage. Surprisingly haven't really gotten the chance to use it. There's no moment that I needed to stop my summons to wait. Perhaps in hard bosses in future I'll need it. Most of the times if I'm waiting for burst at right timing I'll just let my summons hit anyway lol. The only one time was waiting burst for HLucid P3, which I pressed too late, but it's forgiving. I just got her to P3 again and burst through. Maybe more useful in late games.

• Fortitude : honestly, the fact that it blocks 10 abnormal status and it's an on/off with only 4 minutes cooldown makes taking in obstacles a lot more forgiving. It doesn't block solar bind like in Seren, but at least it blocks annoying debuffs that may lead to damage loss like Darkness, Seal, Skull key swap, and Weakness if you are a down jump to dodge guy in Kalos. If you are used to the boss patterns, it prevents a lot of nonsense and should last you for a good portion of boss runs.

• Levitate : My apology on it before. It makes you float. I was expecting it to be a key down to float like Blink. But it's more like a press once to open wings and float a while up to three times in air. Basically press once, wait, move if you want, once duration is up, press again to continue floating. This has superstance but if you timed your floating time well, it's quite a long time. Just don't be panicked like me and press it too fast, it definitely can make you float through dragon breath in Lucid P1.

• Overlord : Azarath : personally prefer it to be pressed after the burst buff and the two short CDs Templar and Cerberus skills, it'll sync with the burst timer better. I used to press this last and found out gosh I had to wait for it a bit on each burst afterwards lol.

• Cooldown skip : you still need this to breathe lol. I think it should get a lot better once I leapt back to my server which has union artifact for cooldown skip. Currently using a 19% chance on ability. It still kinda feelsbadman when it didn't proc. Especially when Midnight : Seren , Seren has 3% HP left, it's about to daybreak and none of your summon could do skills LOL. I ended up doing another burst at dawn, and cleared at noon. Prolly skill issues. But if CD skip ever procs more I would've cleared at Midnight.

• Oblique Teleport : your diagonal teleport. If you are a BaM player I guess habitually you can treat it as a diagonal version of teleport V2 to dodge things. It's good to dodge diagonal falling objects like the meteor in Darknell. Otherwise, idk, habitually I diagonal teleport down and teleport forward to "feel" faster. lol. If only we get a teleport boost for range.

I got to Lv278, about to get to 280 soon. My cores are still very low level. Lv9 on masteries. CW was crowded as hell, on some night time you have to queue to get in. Even guild was full, my friend told me to wait for few days before applying to the open guild again. Waited for a good week LOL before I got in and gosh the gameplay improves a tenfold with Noblesse skills. And I just got to Diamond rank.

Would I recommend Lethe?

She's a good boss mule. You could in fact focus more on dodging pattern and engaging patterns when your summons do the job for you. You'll notice this when you're doing Maerin since she has the cards and pattern minigame that you'll probably want to focus a bit otherwise it's a damage loss. With summons you can do the pattern while doing consistent damage. It's good actually.

But it really takes a while to get used to that. Learn to Converge and Scatter. Love the class. Hope this review helps. I'm still working on to Hard Maerin because I need that cosmetic ring.

Yesterday I got my first eternal piece but I'm not sure what to do with it. Using an online calculator the avg cost (using avg because I will need multiple pieces) to 21-22 star an eternal with 0% chance during ssf is 111-140 b .

For me that is insanely expensive. I can get up to 27b per week, but most weeks I would get around 15b per week. I also get 6 eternal fragments per week (2 nkalos, 2 nadv, 2 nmalefic).

So I would like some advice on how to use my resources (eternals, mesos, restoration) to replace my cra gear.

Do Sup golllux items not drop anymore? I've killed hellux daily on like 3-5 characters and haven't seen a superior item drop in at least 2months. Now I'm only running around 150% drop on them but still that's a whole lot of kills to not see a single 1

Instead of monetising passes and having weak CS updates weekly they should definitely spend time and resources on nice cosmetics and ways to show it off.

Its incredibly strange they dont do so.

Are the trait boost potions in the package tradeable? I see the coupon itself is untradeable. Just wondering.
