Demon Slayer (lvl 292, 112k Hexa Converted) - I Have Surpassed Super Saiyan God and Achieved Super Saiyan BLUE

HA! JK. I fooled you. I have not acquired universe-shattering powers. It's just dlib.

Details of my character pre-liberation in the photo album above.

You can find all my equips, fams, fam badges, etc...here.

Quite a few things aligned for me, making this week the first ideal opportunity for me to dlib:

  • Most importantly, I capped my destiny points on Friday..
  • I got enough Baldy/Limbo pieces to get 2 spares, allowing me to 22 my Eternal Gloves (1/1/4/4).
  • My lvl 265 Erel's Burning title on CW expires next week and I didn't feel like clearing VHilla at x1.3 instead of x1.5. So I decided to leap it for its legion block/lvl 6 Shine link. Also came with some extra flames I could use.

I've known this for almost a month beforehand, so ofc, I saved my haste title and RoR6 box for this.

Contrary to how I'm sure many people feel about Kaling, I actually like fighting this boss. My biggest gripe with it is tiger RNG when you first go in. It's usually pretty consistent, but you can't always guarantee the dash, which saves quite a lot of time and it led to a lot of resetting. That 1 aspect drags down the whole enjoyment of the fight for me.

I spent like >3 hours today and like 1-2 hours last night doing this. Prior to this I've practiced while underspec whenever I felt like it and prior to that, I have done a lot of practice to solo Normal Kaling. I also watched some videos prior to today of DS dlib missions.

Interestingly, because I'm above the min clear spec, I found an interesting way to burst out of bird after some experimentation. On the last burst of bird (Origin), I can Origin -> burst out -> go to dog -> preset swap to totaling ring while dog is spawning -> drop the biggest part of my origin. This helps to prevent the 10-15 sec delay that would take place on my next origin burst if I Origined in dog. It's a very class and spec dependent thing, but I thought it was interesting.

I guess HAdv is next...the hamster wheel never ends.

F2P Level 262 Erel Heroic CW3 Week 2 CTene Clear - NO paid passes, grinding, Burning Beyond, Challenger Partner, Erda's Request, Epic Dungeons, Sauna, EXP or Challenger Coins used.

Non Rental/Item Burning Equips/Familiars/Familiar Badges

I didn't even buy auto buff, just made buff sequences for them.

There has been some discussion her how viable it is to hit Challenger F2P. The biggest challenge with this is liberation, which has a very tight timeline due to our reduced CW duration. However, as long as you are able to solo CTene by week 2 and run all 4 BMs, you can comfortably liberate and easily clear the bosses required to hit Challenger, daily/weeklystorying your way to ~275-280.

Technically, you don't need to liberate to hit challenger, but it's much more expensive as Genesis weapon is a massive damage boost.

I'm happy to report that it is very much possible and reasonable as long as you are already familiar with boss mechanics or are willing to practice. I don't know anything about Kai/her damage requirements nor do I plan on clearing her due to her level requirement.

I would also note that the strength of the class you pick probably does matter if you want to rush early clears. I played Erel. In addition to the free stuff from the Shine Pass, the class is ridiculously safe, braindead easy and just seems to be doing a lot of damage. With the exception of P3 Lucid and webbing out in Will, none of the bosses were even close. Darknell was a sub 20 min clear despite me delaying multiple bursts and missing a mini. HVHilla clear was just over 21 min despite using 3x5% healing familiars over the 15% IED/2% atk fams, which I discovered during my run was overkill due to Erel's Shield.

The main reason I didn't attempt the clears on week 1 is because I needed another Arcane River weekly to hit level 15 Arcane Symbols and I was running a bit low on mesos. It's probably doable week 1 if you sweat hard enough. I didn't know the clears on VHilla/HDark were only going to be 20 min runs at 35 mill cp with the 1.5x AF. I adjusted my hyperstats to ensure I hit the 1.5x requirement for every boss. Renting totems is required for this.

Due to the fact that I chose to use Burning Beyond/Epic Dungeon/Erda's Request on Kronos, I was heavily deprived of Sol Erda. I went into CGloom with no hexa other than Origin, HLuwill with only lvl1 M1 and HDark/VHilla with lvl 1 M1/M2. You should not be under these restrictions if you are actually pushing on CW. I skipped Challenger Partners because I wasn't planning to play CW much after clearing CTene once for the CW coins and I didn't want to subject someone else to my lack of commitment.

I skipped like 2 or 3 days on CW (patch day before reset, and at least 1, possibly 2 other days),

Overall, the strategy is straightforward. Run MP/MPE/Symbol Dailies/Symbol Weeklies to get your symbols and Ursus. I also recommend doing some daily bosses for some extra mesos income - I suggest Magnus/Pap/Von Leon/Arkarium/Pink Bean/Ranmaru/Gollux.

When upgrading equips, I only focused on Emblem, Secondary and Rings. All other items are available in the form of free Dominator, Item Burning and Rentals. The important thing is to hit the 1.5x Arcane Force requirements. We got 1 unique pot scroll from the summer check-in event and 1 from CW rewrads, so both should were used on Emblem/Secondary.

One of thee biggest time sinks was getting the 10 fam badges. Took me ~3 hours. Probably not worth it tbh. Just get a few of the good ones and make do with2 fams.

For me this is pretty much it for CW3. I'll probably just clear VHilla once a week going forward for the event coins. I might run Normal Tene for some quick mesos, but def not full CTene due to time. Erel is just going to be a legion block/link skill once CW3 ends. For me, CW3 is mainly for stealing some CW coins (I will skip the frags to buy the flames) and double dipping event boss coins so I can funnel flames to my main without putting in too much effort. Also, the tradeable rewards of 2nd half of Operation: Dive can be transferred to Kronos so I might play a tiny bit more when that comes to double dip.

I would love to try out Kai, but I can't be bothered with the level requirement and Erel not actually being planned to become an LC. I'll make an actual effort for CW4 when that comes though, since I plan on making Lethe my 6th LC.

Lvl290 Demon Slayer (106K Hexa) CKalos Destiny Mission

It's been 5 months since my last solo post on NKaling. Character details in the rest of the pictures in the main post. 106k hexa is including all the buffs that I used. Glad I was able to do it before the Sol Hecate powercreep.

List of all my equips/fams here. Only 3-set Chuchu because I don't like how it hides my wings.

This wasn't quite as bad as I thought it was. It wasn't a true min clear, so I had some leeways in my play. Definitely some mistakes with delaying bursts, missing AB links off burst, scrambling in 2-4 and a bunch of things that adds up over the course of the run. I went into 2-4 with door and all 3 lives intact, but was scrambling a bit and burned a lot of lives due to concerns over having enough damage.

3 bursts per segment, except for P3 where I phased it with 2 ascents + 3 bursts. I delayed the Ascent a bit too much and the test ended up cutting into my cooldowns. Last ascent was used in P4. This should have been a 28:00-28:30ish run if I played better, but it ended up being dragged to 29:30ish due to a bunch of mistakes throughout the run.

Next solo target is NLimbo, which should be doable or at least close to doable right now. However, it's gotta be in practice mode since I run HLimbo in a party. 1929/2500 for Destiny lib points right now.

After finally accepting that Vonwacq is necessary on my supports and going back to the mines for it, I got my 0 cycle.
