I couldn't let this broken guitar get thrown out

So the other night when I left my building, there was an epiphone acoustic guitar without strings sitting against the steps to my building.

Even if it can't be fixed, I figured I could make some kind of art piece out of it or something.

For whatever reason, I could not let this more than likely useless guitar sit outside before someone broke it even more.

I don't know too much about guitars, so I'll include a pic or 2 and would greatly appreciate if someone could tell me whether I'm headed to a music store or Michael's for craft supplies.

Without using informed guitar language, it looks like the top of the neck has almost been decapitated.

It looked flawless until I picked it up, and the neck turned into a pendulum.

Yes, I know it's probably more money to fix it than it would be to buy a new one, but Im one of those old people who still has hope.

If it can't be fixed, I'd love to hear any suggestions as far as creating a piece of art with it.
