Jane Austen set some wildly unrealistic expectations, and unfortunately, I intend to honor them. Looking for my Mr. Darcy.
Hi, I’m 28F, 5'5", chubby, and currently working on becoming a healthier version of myself so yes, the character development is still very much in progress. 😂 I’m from Lahore and come from a small family. I’m the middle child, with an older brother and a younger sister, which means I’ve had plenty of experience being both the responsible one and the one who gets away with things.
I’ve recently completed my MPhil and am a little introverted at first. It takes me some time to open up, but once I’m comfortable with you, I can become surprisingly extroverted and probably talk your ear off.
I love reading, and I have a particular weakness for Jane Austen. So yes, somewhere in my head I’m still waiting for my Mr. Darcy preferably with the devotion, emotional maturity and witty banter, but without the unnecessary misunderstandings and poor communication. 😂 I’m flexible on the estate.
Movies and shows are another major part of my personality. If there’s a plot twist, psychological trauma, a suspiciously dark basement, or someone making terrible decisions in a horror movie, chances are I’ve watched it. I love horror, slashers and thrillers, and I’m especially fond of foreign films Korean, Indonesian, and basically anything that introduces me to a different style of storytelling.
I’m looking for someone to have shaam ki chai and morning coffee with. Someone I can share my deepest and most unhinged thoughts with, send ridiculous memes to, and have completely unnecessary “okay, hear me out…” debates with about everything under the sun.
I’m quite content in my own little corner of the world, but I’d love to travel with the right person discover new places, try food we can’t pronounce, get lost somewhere, and pretend it was all part of the itinerary.
Faith is an important part of my life as well. I pray and fast and try to keep my faith woven into my everyday life, so I’d want a partner who values his religion and practices it too. I’m not looking for perfection just someone who is sincere about his faith and wants to grow in it together.
As for you: kind, emotionally mature, well-read, able to articulate your thoughts, and capable of making me laugh. Someone who knows how to communicate, has a good sense of humour, and is genuinely ready to build a life with someone.
I’m not looking for a literal Regency-era aristocrat. Just someone who feels like home, but with better banter.
So, if you’re looking for your favourite person, movie discussion partner, travel companion, occasional source of unsolicited opinions, and someone to annoy lovingly for the next 50 years…
Hello. I may be accepting applications. 👋😂
