I finally reached my breaking point with my toxic family and will probably cut them off soon. I made the mistake of not saving money to afford rent/housing for a few months, so I'm probably going to end up in a shelter until I get on my feet. I wish I could try to save up at home and safely leave, but I don't think my mental health will survive. It's hard knowing I'll have to abandon my life and all my belongings just to try to find peace.
