Goofy boy just adopted yesterday!
Honestly I normally love naming my own pets as I have a million ideas for pet names. Though this time I would like something both my boyfriend and I agree on that wasn’t necessarily my idea.
We only just adopted from City Dogs Cleveland yesterday. He is estimated to be around 10 months old and an American Pit Bull Terrier mix. He is very goofy he loves toys, and tends to fumble over his own feet. Otherwise he is very well mannered even if he annoys our current dog a bit.
He was being called Breeze/Breezy at the kennel/foster but he was a stray that was only there just under a month. He has a “Milo” tag on as that was our dog that was euthanized in May.
Our current dog is named Kida (my favorite Disney princess). Though she goes by many nicknames namely “baby girl”.
I personally like various categories of names for dogs:
- random nouns, inanimate objects, household items etc.
- funny/appropriate character names
- favorite character names (ie characters I find from books/movies/shows cool)
- people names (like I want it to sound like a human not a dog name)
Though I do think potentially naming him after his goofy nature (though he might grow out of that) or his pretty light orange/brown coloring might be fun too.
