i found him this morning, and am heavily considering keeping him, so i’d like name ideas. Goofy, silly and funny ideas!!!
Right now, im calling him Pinto. My current girl (7yr doberman) is named Kira but i call her Bean so Pinto seems fitting.
other ones im thinking about are: Dude, Pony, Monkey(monk), Opie, Moth, and i really like Bug.

We just brought this guy home. He was a stray who showed up at my family member’s house and needs a home. We aren’t sure yet if we’ll be a permanent home or a foster but either way he needs a name! Our possibles list so far is George (as in Washington bc it’s the 4th), Juniper, Wren, Mulberry, Kismet, and Mr. Darcy. As you can see, we’re all over the place! I’m open to names that are: funny, weird, gender neutral or even feminine, and possible themes are space, food, floral/nature-y, or literature. I’m less into human names (but do like George lol). My other dog is Banjo but they don’t have to go together. So far this guy is super chill & super sweet. Give me all your ideas!
So my we just adopted this sweet boy and can't agree on a name. His shelter name was Teebo, and I wanted to name him Bodhi (in reference to the star wars character) since I figured it would be an easy enough change for us. Upon further research, it's deeply rooted in Buddhism, and I don't want to be that white lady. So now I'm stumped. I'd love a name that's not glaringly a nerdy reference, but if you know, you know. - but it's not a deal breaker. From what we can tell he's mostly a schnauzer, but he's absolutely a velcro dog and just wants cuddles all the time.

Honestly I normally love naming my own pets as I have a million ideas for pet names. Though this time I would like something both my boyfriend and I agree on that wasn’t necessarily my idea.
We only just adopted from City Dogs Cleveland yesterday. He is estimated to be around 10 months old and an American Pit Bull Terrier mix. He is very goofy he loves toys, and tends to fumble over his own feet. Otherwise he is very well mannered even if he annoys our current dog a bit.
He was being called Breeze/Breezy at the kennel/foster but he was a stray that was only there just under a month. He has a “Milo” tag on as that was our dog that was euthanized in May.
Our current dog is named Kida (my favorite Disney princess). Though she goes by many nicknames namely “baby girl”.
I personally like various categories of names for dogs:
- random nouns, inanimate objects, household items etc.
- funny/appropriate character names
- favorite character names (ie characters I find from books/movies/shows cool)
- people names (like I want it to sound like a human not a dog name)
Though I do think potentially naming him after his goofy nature (though he might grow out of that) or his pretty light orange/brown coloring might be fun too.

We are soon going to be coming home with either one of these two girls. They're two adorable puppies, maybe spaniel mix (if you have any idea, do tell!) and we're a home with two cats, one named Phoebos (the male name for Phoebe) and the other is "the little one" in our language (Greek).
