My rough collie is 6 years old and I’m getting my second collie puppy as a potential show dog.

What age should my 6 year old dog stop showing? she’s still pretty ‘young’ now but I don’t wanna force her to attend shows once she’s passed her prime.

Im on the hunt for some good quality professional looking show attire, where did you get yours?

I like sparkles and have been desperately searching for an outfit for our next show with some pizzazz to it lol

I am still a minor and I’m currently taking a nursing course, I have a lot of self harm scars across my arm that are raised and can look kind of scary in my own opinion…. should I still pursue being a nurse or should I try to find something else? I don’t want to scare patients or appear unprofessional to future patients.

If this isn’t the profession for me considering my background I’m willing to try other things that won’t trigger others.

I believe I may have endometriosis and my mother refuses to believe me and in fact calls my symptoms normal.

My period is at a point where it’s almost unmanageable and I don’t know what to do about it. My period makes me unable to function, my period makes it so I have to not attend school for a few days and it’s so bad I have to call out of work when my period starts.

The pain is so severe regular ibuprofen oftentimes won’t work, hardly dulls any of the pain. I will almost every single period be consumed with intense nausea and vomit, sometimes it’s so bad my body will force me to strain until bile comes up.

Heating packs make the pain worse.

The exhaustion is the worst of it, I’m out of breath over everything on my period and moving around makes me feel totally beat. Changing pads and tampons makes me feel like I’ve run a marathon under 100 degree weather.

I’ve missed out on important events and things I’ve been looking forward to because of my period and I’m tired of it!

Its hard to pack all of my symptoms into one post so this doesn’t truly capture the full experience but I tried to include what I thought was important.

Im only a teenager so perhaps this is completely normal and I’m being paranoid. My mom says seeing a doctor is unnecessary and it’s a normal part of growing up because she experiences bad periods too. She says there’s nothing doctors can even do to help me.

How do I get my mom to at least allow me to get evaluated by a doctor? I want some sort of closure on my symptoms.
I figured that others with endometriosis could maybe help my situation and help me understand if I’m blowing this out of proportion.

Im currently extremely closeted, my parents are transphobic and have made that clear on multiple occasions. I’m FtM, and no one in my life knows about it. Im 16 and want to try somewhat starting my transition but keeping it on the down low so my parents don’t catch on. How can I do that? How do I discreetly get a binder? Or DIY hrt? I’ve already cut my hair and I’ve been told im relatively androgynous but my main issue keeping me from passing is my chest and my voice! Im tired of being perceived as female and I’m willing to try anything to help me pass at least a little bit! Any advice helps!

okay so I’m assuming this is the place to ask this question…

Ive had my period since I was 10, I’m 16 1/2 at this point so it’s been awhile. more recently starting at around 2-ish years ago my periods have been getting much worse! Just last year I had to spend 3 hours in my school bathroom waiting for my mom to pick me up from school because I was vomiting from pain, was in so much pain I was crying, and was falling asleep standing, I also get tremors and really bad leg pain. My mom tells me it’s normal and when she was my age she had bad periods too where she’d cry from the pain. Is it really normal? Am I overreacting about my periods?

Idk my periods make me feel nonfunctional due to the fact I’m in so much pain and pretty regularly vomit on my periods.

Any advice?

Hello dog breeders of Reddit, I have no idea what I’m doing and I’ve asked a similar question in the past but I’m committed to it now.

How do I get into breeding? I want to breed rough collies that conform to the breed standard and strong herding instinct, I want them to make excellent service dog prospects or show dog prospects.

I don’t really know where to start and hope to get my first potential dog to start in around 2028-ish but of course I’m willing to wait for the perfect breeder and the perfect dog!

Any pointers on where to start with a breeding program? I can be patient and do whatever I need to in regards to ethics, health testing, and titling.
