What breed do you see?

She’s a rescue dog! I was told she’s a Shih Tzu terrier mix, I have been asked if she had lasso or chihuahua in her. I have to get her tested to see exactly, but I’m curious what you all think! This is her after her hair has been shaved down.

Is it worth getting her an Embark test?

She looks very much like a pit mix. She's getting old and I've been curious all my life about what breeds are in, besides pit. My mom thinks she's just lab and pit, but she has basically no lab traits. And IIRC, when we rescued her, my mom said her siblings (assuming they're littermates, not similarly aged hoarder puppies) looked like shepherd mixes. She yodels a lot, and shed a lot, but she so sweet. She is around 45 pounds, because she's a bit stocky, but her full height is little below my knee. She's approximately an inch or two shorter than my ACD mix (mostly ACD).

I was told she’s just a chihuahua but I’m suspicious. What do you think?

I thought she was just a deer head chihuahua but I’m not sure because she is extremely fast, I’ve never met a dog that could outrun her. Last pic shows her mid stride. Incredibly smart but can be stubborn at times. Loves to burrow under covers. She’s 6.5 lb full grown. Very docile but loves to play rough

Picking this guy up tomorrow. Wondering what mix you guys think he is.

He was listed as chihuahua but the people at the shelter don’t believe he is chihuahua and is a mixed cavalier. What does he look like to you?

What breed could he be? He’s about two years old. I adopted him from a shelter and I’ve always wondered what his breed is.

What breed is my dog?

We're in love with a girl we're talking about... What is she? Adopted this sweetie poo from Central Oregon. Gorgeous glossy brown coat, 50lbs, lab nose, perky ears, behaves like a shepherd when playing, stays close by, low growl at strangers, doesn't bark, tiny white spot on chest, no white anywhere else. lovable and cuddly. Webbed feet. Any guesses

What do we think my Rez pup is?

This is my recently rescued boy, Storm. He came to us from a garbage dump at a Rez in Northern Manitoba. Vet guesses he is about 6.5 weeks at present (but guessed that based on his weight). My boyfriend and I are a little sceptical about this aging method because the poor boy is also riddled with roundworms, hasn’t had any veterinary care, and likely had stunted growth due to the lack of nutrients he was receiving.

Storm is currently 3kg (6.6lbs), has close to a full set of puppy teeth with his molars coming in hot and heavy. He is now being treated for worms, has tested negative for parvo twice (thank goodness), and is an otherwise normal/rambunctious boy. Our guesses are somewhere along the lines of a mix of the typical northern Canadian Rez dog variety: shepherd, husky, collie etc.

If anyone has a Rez pup who looked similar around this age we would love to see photos! We plan to get a DNA test done at some point but thought this would be a fun way to get some good guesses in!

Puppy around: 6months, 10kg, 40cm shoulder hight, 50cm head. Any help identifying?

Tldr: Family drama. Some person (dont know them personally) in the some circle i know kicked out the puppy out of the house, other person asked me if i can find him on the streets and take care of him. Lucky for doggo i did manage to find him.

I am interested in his breed. He was originally found on the streets before i found him again so its unknown. Age is guesstimate but he was a small puppy when found so it should be roughly 6months now based on everything. He seems to be growing pretty rapidly. Overtook my small dogs in less than a month (was slightly smaller now is slightly bigger and noticably heavier than first time i carried him).

Adopted this pup from the shelter, what do we think she is? Shes only 3 months old

A few friends have said whippet/husky, or pit/lab. Her tail is about half the size of her body if not longer, super sweet, super vocal, and very energetic

Our sweet rescue

This sweet girl was listed as a “Husky mix” when we adopted her. She had a litter of 4 puppies one week after her first birthday while in the shelter. Two of her puppies came out with very similar caramel coloring to hers, one looked like every husky you’d expect I guess (white and black w blue eyes) and one all black pup. We got her last June. She is now 2 years old. I’ve always thought she had some German Shepard, especially with her frame. But I’ve heard it all, some people have said they see Shiba, heeler, and much more. What do you folks suspect? If you need more info please ask away!

Poodle or Doodle?

I found my dog Rooster on the side of the road when she was around 5 months old and still dont know if she's a standard poodle or some sort of mix.

As of now she's 2 years old and 45 lbs.

She is the most vocal, smart, and handsy (likes to paw people, insects and cats) dog ive ever met.

She loves water and is super sassy.

I found her and her brother wandering- super underweight and got her brother into a doodle rescue and hes since been adopted. But Rooster was a foster fail. I fell in love with her. I live out in the country and grew up with rescue dogs- mostly pit mixes because they are the ones always getting dumped. I never in a million years thought I would own a poodle. I assume they escaped some sort of backyard breeding situation cause who would dump them?

Any thoughts?

Found this baby on the side of the road. Plan to foster to adopt

My bf found this sweet baby abandoned in a crate test. Her fur was severely matted and she was covered in leaves. We are going to the local animal shelter to do a foster to adopt route. They will pay for everything while in the foster stage. I am trying to guess her breed. I am thinking yorkie or schnauzer mixed.

Any ideas??

Black lab obviously, but she’s smaller than she appears in pictures (maybe 45lb). Her fosters did overfeed her so she’s a bit chubby. She’s got this super curly tail too! My thought is finnish spitz?

Handsome shelter mix

We adopted this handsome fella a few months ago. They said he was about 2 years old and 50 lbs, but that’s about all we know. Any guesses as to the breed mix?

Anybody have a clue what he is?

I found him a month ago in the desert and we believe he is around 8 months now. He is high energy but he is able to calm down quickly and is able to lounge when everyone else is. He also almost never barks only times I’ve seen him bark is when somebody is tanning/laying down in public. His tail was also docked when we found him. His weight is 35lbs.
