I bought this crimson queen about a year ago, wintered it out on my terrace under some burlap, and miraculously managed not to kill it! I repotted in a slightly larger terracotta about a month back right before it leafed out.

The terrace is east-facing and I’m in Brooklyn, NY. The walls provides shelter from the wind, and I’m good about watering it (the pot is also on feet so it doesn’t bake on the cement tiles).

I’d love to see it grow bushier and faster - any suggestions? I do think some branches may not have made it through the winter (pictured).
