I would like to know more about what goes through an avoidant’s mind when they discard, detach, go cold, etc.

I’m tired of this on and off stuff with him. (im not leaving him anytime soon lol). i need him backkkk but i wanna give him a taste of his own medicine 🤔 what can i do to trigger him into breaking no contact and coming back and maybe give him a lil scare into thinking that im done with him lol

I’ve been with my avoidant for 3 years. Everytime before we break up he suddenly gets very distant and it’s happening again (him getting distant) but something about this tells me it’s the end.
