UPDATE Liebe is back home and safe!!

It turned out that he slipped into a neighbour's unit on the same floor and hid in their closet for 50 hours!

Queens Quay and Merchants' Wharf
(might had wandered into St. Lawrence Market neighbour)
Went missing on the evening of Oct 9.

I'm not even sure how my orange cat disappeared, but it's possible my cat jumped off my 4th-floor balcony onto a ledge, then onto a 2nd-floor balcony, then onto a 1st-floor ledge. I’ve been looking all over for him ever since.

His name is Liebe, and he’s friendly and a bit aloof, but might be frightened outside.
Please contact me if you’ve seen him around. He has no collar, but he is microchipped.

Looking for a black-and-white Ontario/Canadian comic from roughly 1990 to 2000. It starred a kindly white-haired, white-mustached mad scientist who took one or more teenagers on adventures. Their spaceship was a vertical cylindrical rocket that wore a giant baseball cap like a hat. It was bigger on the inside, and now I think about it, it's similar to the TARDIS. The tone was comedic adventure with detailed cartoon artwork. I vaguely remember Toronto Blue Jays imagery or references.
