anyone participating in the programming quest??

lowk kinda scared i'm gonna be lost trying to find the place :/ also do we need student card to access the venue cuz we're only getting it during club fair day right?

so i'm an incoming SWE student and i have some questions about the new mod registration for y1t2 onwards. i always thought SIT would just give us our timetables every tri but ig its changed now??

1. what is the system like? are we already given the mods we need and we're just registering for which time slot we want?
2. will there be situations where you can't get the mods you need?
3. any other things to note during mod registration?

i recently went to book a slot and only days after 25 june were available. i also realised i might be menstruating during that time which i'll need to reschedule the appointment for.

1. i'll just need to call the clinic to reschedule right?

2. will it be ok to finish the check up after 30 june?

hi! i'm an incoming ict (software eng) student this year. i have some questions about this course and would love to know SWE seniors' experiences and get advice :)

1. what languages are taught in this course and anything i should take note of about any of the modules?

2. how's the weekly schedule like? (i live in the west😭)

3. laptop recommendations? is there any sort of discount available to buy laptops like in poly? (currently using a shitty laptop i bought for poly that's literally breaking down. doesn't even work properly without constant charging.)

4. how's the trimester system for this course? is it really tough?

5. is excluding modules a good idea? (i come from an IT diploma. i've heard that sometimes excluding a module can cause some struggling in other modules u cannot exclude)
