I got into ashoka (r1) but didn't receive any need-based aid. I had also applied for reconsideration, but that was also denied.

Since r3 aid forms are out now, I'm wondering if it's worth emailing the scholarship team again. Has anyone who was denied aid earlier ever managed to get reconsidered in a later round?
