The venue I’m going with includes a 5 hour event with the cut off time at 10pm. Which would mean that ceremony would be at 5, cocktail 5:30-6:30 and reception from 6:30-10pm. I feel like this is too late and we should do the ceremony at 4. Which would cost an additional $500 for that hour. My mom thinks a 5 hour event is fine. I’d love everyone’s opinion.
What did you do for food that was nice, classy but also affordable. Did you buy cheaper food and use nice buffet trays? Just do food trucks? My venue is pretty classy so I don’t know if it’s appropriate to have really cheap food, but I also really do not want to spend $20k to feed these people 😭 what options did you all do that still looked ‘higher end’ but didn’t break the bank. Also any caterers you recommend in MD
