Apollo Pharmacy discount - what’s the actual benefit?
I recently purchased a medicine from Apollo where the MRP was ₹64.48, and I ended up paying the full MRP.
What surprised me is that the same medicine can be purchased for less than MRP at a local medical shop.
So I’m genuinely wondering - if a pharmacy promotes discounts and has such a big brand presence, but customers still end up paying the full MRP, what is the actual benefit of the discount/brand value for the customer?
I’m not saying this is a scam without evidence. I’m just sharing my experience and asking if others have noticed the same thing with Apollo or other large pharmacy chains.
Has anyone else experienced this?
