Is anyone else terrified of making something profoundly bad or is it just me?

I love film. I love writing. I have stacks of screenplays from my favorite movies in my office that I read on my down time. And sure, I have some movie ideas I’ve been shooting around in my head. I would like to get into the business and see my name on the screen as the writer.

And sure, I can’t just walk into Hollywood but producing a micro budget film isn’t totally out of the realm of possibility.

But I’m terrified of making something awful.

Who’s to say that my indie project doesn’t turn out as this generations version of The Room? That is almost paralyzing.

Have any of you dealt with this?

What is the theme of Sicario?

Having heard about the screenplay that launched a billion dollar career on here I decided to give it a read and watch the film. Both quite entertaining, but that isn't the point.

I'm unable to place what the central dramatic argument of this film is.
The idea that the protagonist embraces through action across the story. Going from anti-theme to theme.

The nearest I can come seems to be the legal system doesn't work and you need to fight dirty to hurt bad guys. (maybe)

As shown by Kate's journey from FBI agent on a mission gone wrong, the occasional push back on missions, plenty of talk about lawyers and their ineffectiveness, her The Refusal to Return (maybe) shown in the final act where she decides to accompany the team on their illegal mission into Mexico, and finally her signing the document at the end that makes the mission above board on paper.

She goes from a believer in justice to an accomplice to something less idealistic but still effective.

But I feel like this is a fairly weak analysis and, forgive me, is this movie just successful because it was cool?

I'd love to hear what you all think. I'm quite new to all of this.

Reddit, tell me one dish from your culture I should try making for dinner.

I'm fairly comfortable cooking what I know, but would like to expand my repertoire and try some new things.

Please, give me 1 dish from your culture I should try making. Hopefully by the end of this year I will have cooked my way around the world, so to speak.

Staying near Na Knizeci station in andel.

From what I gathered on this sub earlier there were a bunch of nazi there attacking people.
It’s also apparently the hotspot to hangout if you’re spending your free time doing drugs?

But what’s the reality? Is this all blown out of proportion? How safe would a solo traveler, especially a woman, feel in this area?

Much obliged
