Poignant movie moments

I’m finding it hard to sort through, IMO, a lot of average ambient music. I’m looking for melodic, emotional ambient (or ambient adjacent) - the kind of thing that really enhances a poignant scene in a film. Any albums (or tracks) you recommend? An Ending (Ascent) is an obvious example of this. Thanks!

Did the Manitou Incline but also beat my step goal for 2026 so far

Visiting Colorado and didn’t even know what the Manitou Incline was until the day I did it. I actually had In-N-Out for breakfast lol and jogged four miles before completing the 171 flights of steps.

My step goal is 7k per day so I like factors of 7 if possible - 28k. Anyway, never would’ve done all that if I had planned it but… just sort of worked out like this. God, I’m sore but I think my walking habit really helped.
