Requirements:
- 2 valid IDs
- Marriage Certificate (if your valid IDs still use your maiden/single name)

I processed mine at the NBI Renewal Center in UN Avenue.

1. ONLINE REGISTRATION
   Do this before going to your chosen NBI branch.
   Create a new account on the NBI website and update your marital status/name.

Note: The email address linked to your old NBI account will not work. You need to register using a new email address.

2. VERIFICATION
   They will send a verification code to your registered email address and mobile number.

3. APPLY FOR CLEARANCE
   Click “Apply for Clearance” on the website/app, then choose your preferred NBI branch.

4. PAYMENT
   There are several payment options available. I used GCash.

After selecting your payment method, they will provide a QR code/reference number. However, the QR code may not work and can cause an error.

Instead, go to:
GCash → Bills Payment → NBI
Then manually enter the reference number provided.

5. BIOMETRICS
   Go to your selected NBI branch for biometrics/photo capture.

You can receive your clearance on the same day if your name has no “hit.”
