DJing at Villa - rent speakers locally or bring my own?

Going to Ibiza soon with some friends (12 of us) and we’ve booked a villa near Old Town. Will be there for 4 nights.

I’ve been learning to DJ for the past few months and was thinking of bringing my controller to practice sets. The host has flagged no loud music after midnight or during morning hours so would only be playing music in the afternoon / evening before heading out.

The villa does not have a compatible speaker and so I'm considering either renting locally or buying some travel-friendly ones. Has anyone done something similar? For renting, any places you'd recommend?

Been learning to DJ for just over a month now using a FLX4, and I’m looking to buy some speakers that I can use for practising at home but that would also work for small parties / events.

I’ve got a trip planned next month with some friends (around 15 people), and we’ll be staying in a villa, so I’m considering taking my controller so I can practise a few sets.

From searching this sub and others, the common recommendations seem to be Minirig, Mackie Thump Go, JBL PartyBox, Soundboks, and EV Everse 8 / 12. However, most of these are above my budget, as I’m looking to spend under £300.

The PartyBox 120 is within budget, but I’m unsure whether there would be latency issues? Are there any other options I should be considering in this price range?

I’ve also looked at the Minirig, but the recommendation seems to be getting 2 speakers plus a sub, which would take it over £500.

The other option I’m considering is renting speakers while on holiday and buying some proper monitors for home practice instead. Would that make more sense?

TLDR - Looking for a cost effective speaker with low/no latency, decent volume for 10–15 people, portability if possible, and something that can be used for home practice
