My home has 2.5 baths. All of them have unvented bathroom fans, and I would like to upgrade at least the two upstairs to properly vented ones. Im not to keen on putting holes in my roof myself though.

What are other options for installing vents?

I know venting out a perforated soffit is a no go, due to the likelihood that moist air will just be sucked back in.

Either end of my attic has large gable vents so I assume I have the same problem with venting out the ends? How far away from those gable vents should I be if I wanted to vent out those of those walls?
