Or more like… why is it still a thing. I know theres Hpv1 and 2 and that its different strings etc but.. Its been around FOREVER. And so annoying too, i don’t know why they just went for herd immunity instead of eliminating the disease completely like its happened with others. Is it not ‚bad’ enough?

I feel like with everything thats been achieved in history of science/ health research, this is a minor problem to solve; but one that everyone would benefit from.

Due to a series of unfortunate events in my life i have to rehome my two cats. It breaks my heart but i found a family that seems great using the help of a lady from the rescue i got them from.

I want this process as comfortable as can be for them, because i know it‘ll be a lot of stress on them. They are just over 2 years old, not siblings but grew up together. One of them is faster at trusting people, plays more and cuddles more; the other one is a very loving cat, even if he himself doesnt really know it. He‘s … awkward, to put it neutrally. He took a long time to warm up and i gave him this time. He does occasionally play, but is very awkward and gentle with whatever he plays with. When he wants to be pet, he‘ll come up to you and tap you gently, when you reach for him he‘ll turn away and do an arched cats back but ultimately he‘ll want you to kned him like a piece of tough dough.

Is there any way i can make rehoming for them more comfortable? The new family will get all our cat supplies and beds.

Im unsure if i should leave them as is or if i should wash them. Would they find some comfort in their beds still smelling like our apartment or would it be better to wash them? Would this smell confuse them?

Ich versuch einfach mal mein glück hier :D für ein projekt für die uni bin ich auf der suche nach gebrauchten kleinen (15cm) geodreiecken (transparent) möglich sind auch lineale oder andere messskalen aus kunststoff. Falls jemand sowas noch zuhause rumliegen hat, schreibt mir gerne eine PN :)
