I’ve been getting more into photography and trying to avoid paying full retail for everything.

For people who buy used, what are some of the best secondhand gear finds you’ve gotten? Could be lenses, bodies, flashes, tripods, bags, filters, whatever. Also curious where you guys are actually finding the good deals — local camera shops, FB Marketplace, Craigslist, estate sales, etc.

I’m fine with older gear if it still performs well. Tbh I’d rather buy a 5-10 year old lens than spend $1k+ on something newer. FWIW I love a good stupidly good deal lol

Current setup:

• Ryzen 5 5600
• RTX 3060 12GB
• 32GB DDR4-3200
• MSI B550 Tomahawk
• 1TB NVMe + 2TB SATA SSD
• Corsair RM650x
• 1440p 165hz monitor

Mostly play stuff like Cyberpunk, F1 25. I also do some Lightroom/Photoshop stuff, but gaming is the main reason for the upgrade.

I'm thinking about keeping the motherboard/RAM/PSU for now and just doing CPU + GPU. Something along the lines of a 5700X3D and whatever GPU makes sense around the $500-600 range.

Is there any obvious bottleneck I'm missing here?
