I grabbed the four pack of MOTU core series figures from Amazon and I have to say that the muted colors and wash they put on He-Man really make a difference! This thing looks fantastic! I'm probably going to get the Chronicles figure just because I can't pass up He-Man figures but this thing would be enough to make me happy even if those higher end figures didn't exist.
One of the nice things about the new Masters of the Universe figures being only $10 is that I don't mind taking them outside to get dirty. The aesthetic of Moto really runs itself well to being photographed in real life nature. So while my daughter caught crayfish at the local park I took some pictures. This one turned out the best and I didn't have a whole lot of time to take more. Hopefully I'll get to go back out in a couple different places this summer to get some different looks.
Went into Walmart after work to pick up lunch meat and decided to swing through the toy department. Glad I did. Now that I've seen how good these are, and with the price being so reasonable, I don't really see a reason to buy the collectors figures. Especially since I might actually be able to find all of these without scalpers getting to them first. Let the hunt begin!
