Dogma F 2023 weight question: is 8.0 kg realistic for my build?

Dogma F 2023 weight question: is 8.0 kg realistic for my build?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to understand whether my Dogma F weighs more than expected or if I'm simply comparing it to review bikes that are weighed under different conditions.

My bike is a 2023 Pinarello Dogma F, ineos Colours, size 55 with the following setup:

  • Campagnolo Bora WTO 45 wheels
  • Shimano Dura-Ace crankset with double sided power meter
  • Shimano Dura-Ace cassette and chain
  • Shimano Dura-Ace brakes and rotors
  • Shimano Ultegra Di2 shifters
  • Shimano Ultegra Di2 front derailleur
  • Shimano Ultegra Di2 rear derailleur
  • Selle Italia SLR Superflow carbon saddle pro team
  • Schwalbe Pro One tyres
  • ButylTubes
  • Two bottle cages
  • Garmin out-front mount
  • Dura-Ace Pedals installed

When I weigh the bike complete like above, without anythin more, I get around 8.0 kg.

What confuses me is that many reviews of the Dogma F report weights closer to 7.2-7.5 kg, sometimes even less.

I'm wondering:

  • Is 8.0 kg realistic for a size 55 with my configuration?
  • How much weight difference should I expect from having Ultegra shifters and derailleurs instead of full Dura-Ace?
  • What are other Dogma F owners actually seeing on the scale in real-world riding configuration?

I don't have any issue with how the bike rides. It feels fantastic. I'm just curious whether my weight is normal or if there's something unusually heavy in my setup. Yes the bike is original, bought from store and frame registered with Pinarello.

Thanks! 🚴‍♂️
