Hi everyone,
I'm trying to understand whether my Dogma F weighs more than expected or if I'm simply comparing it to review bikes that are weighed under different conditions.
My bike is a 2023 Pinarello Dogma F, ineos Colours, size 55 with the following setup:
When I weigh the bike complete like above, without anythin more, I get around 8.0 kg.
What confuses me is that many reviews of the Dogma F report weights closer to 7.2-7.5 kg, sometimes even less.
I'm wondering:
I don't have any issue with how the bike rides. It feels fantastic. I'm just curious whether my weight is normal or if there's something unusually heavy in my setup. Yes the bike is original, bought from store and frame registered with Pinarello.
Thanks! 🚴♂️
I used to have a Decathlon RC120, but then I treated myself to this beauty! I love it! I can't compare it to other bikes in the same class, but it makes me want to ride all the time, so that works for me! I'm currently training for ultra-distance cycling, specifically a 500km race.
2017 Dogma F8 51.5 (7.6kg) - Overall condition 8.5/10
About to offer $1300-1400. Yes, it's an older bike and has rim brakes. I'm OK with that.
For all intents and purposes, assume authentic until i hear back directly from Pinarello
A guy told me I should add stickers to these ENVE Fundation 65, I don't agree. I think it looks prestine like that
Looking for opinions on the current market value of this bike.
• Pinarello Dogma 60.1 (approx. 2010–2011)
• Shimano Ultegra Di2 6870 (11-speed)
• Vision TriMax T42 wheels
• Vittoria Corsa Graphene tyres
• Ritchey cockpit, Fizik saddle
Very good condition, well maintained, slight signs of use.
What would you say is a fair price in today’s market?
Thanks!
Purchased these handlebars off of eBay and claimed custom paint. The logo is not straight and the hardware is different from images I’ve seen online. Can anyone please confirm whether this is a fake?
Pinarello Dogma X 2027. SRAM Red. S works Power Pro Evo saddle. ENVE SES 4.5 wheels. GP 5000 Str 32 tyres.
That may be a dumb question given I personally put this bike together a year ago but I’m puzzled. How to unscrew it?
I have the right screwdriver and the bolt is moving a bit both directions but I can’t unscrew it any further. I move it a millimeter without any resistance and then hit “a wall”. Is it possible that the bolt got so seized up in just one year? I’m a woman so I’m probably not super strong, but still, it feels crazy hard.
Hello, i would like your opinion on whether to buy a Pinarello Dogma F 2026 model at 560 or 550 size.
I am 182cm with 87,5cm inseam. I have a cervelo s5 56 size.
Thank you.
I’m seriously considering a Dogma X, but I’m definitely not a racer. I mostly ride solo for fitness and enjoyment, usually 20–40 miles, with some longer rides here and there.
I know I absolutely don’t need a Dogma X for that kind of riding. I’m more curious how many people here bought one simply because they loved the bike and wanted something really nice to ride.
For those of you who own one and aren’t racing: do you feel like it was worth the money? Does it actually make you want to ride more, or looking back would you have gone with something like the Pinarello X7 and saved the money?
Basically, is buying a Dogma X for casual fitness riding ridiculous, or are there plenty of you doing exactly that?
New frame day after a monster crash! Built up this mint condition 2024 Dogma X frame on a budget with a mix of new components and old stuff I could salvage from my previous bike. Specs:
Dogma X frame size 55. CRW HB01 bar / stem 380/100, EXS in-line seat post and my old Ergon SR Pro carbon rail saddle. My old 50 mil Aerycs carbon front wheel, a new Zipp 303 Firecrest rear wheel - both set up tubeless with 32 mil GP5000s measuring 33 and 34 mil respectively. My old Sram Red cranks 48/35 with qarq power meter, Red rear derailleur, 10/33 Force cassette & chain and Rival shifters and front derailleur. topped off with Panda Podium bottle cages and aero bottles.
The build weighs 7.7 kg fully ride-ready, with cages, bottles, pedals and computer mount.
What do you guys think? Smart, silly or outright sacrilege 🙂?
99% done. Needs bar tape, saddle bag and have to mount my computer. Waiting on my Elite bottle cages as well
After a bike fit and much riding I’ve had nothing but a good experience so far on the bike. Ridden on trails, light gravel and many roads etc. the di shift is fine and lasts a decent while before charging. Frame feels even better after getting used to it and really enjoy it for uphills with the lightness. I plan to look into lighter wheels and a small bag and honestly thats it. I had debated an f5 or an x7 but realized it’ll be a while before I feel any need. A pic for todays ride
Looking for one piece cockpits preferably in 340mm but may settle for 360mm with 80mm stem that is compatible the X5.
Has anyone gone to one piece and which brand did you use
