Was what I did wrong?
Yesterday after working out, my wife, one of my friends, and I decided to sit in the coed sauna by the indoor pool for a few minutes before leaving.
There were probably 7-8 other people in there already just chatting, relaxing, sweating. We had our protein shakes and were just sitting there sweating after the workout.
My friend was wearing swim trunks, my wife still had her workout clothes on, and I had a towel wrapped around me. A few minutes in, my wife asks me what I’m wearing under the towel. I said “nothing?”
She immediately starts freaking out saying that’s against the rules in a public sauna, there are kids around, I could get arrested, etc. At one point she even called me a pedophile which completely caught me off guard. Then she asked if this was some kind of “kink” for me, being naked in public like this. Luckily she kept her voice down and other people were chatting so I don't think anyone heard what she said. Meanwhile my friend is crying laughing.
I told her I genuinely didn’t think this was weird because it’s a sauna and I was fully covered by the towel the entire time. This is how I always do the sauna. I even looked at the posted rules and noted that I had been in for less than 30 minutes, am over 12 and do not have any medical issues.
She keeps saying stuff like “I cannot deal with you” and “how have you made it this far in life?” Then she gets up and leaves saying she can’t be associated with me and that I’m probably going to get us banned.
Now apparently I’m the insane one here?
