First time drawing, I just wanted some critiques and was wondering why his head looks so off in mine but normal in my reference photo.

Also his right thumb looks weird idk why but I think next time I’ll try to add some kind of 3D effect.

How can I improve this logo?

It’s for my watersport company. We make gear for sailors and kitesurfers. We’re called CHASZERS.
