Brave removed the "Show Sponsored Images" toggle from the Customize Dashboard
Just wanted to flag this for anyone else who noticed — the toggle to turn off sponsored images used to be right inside the Customize Dashboard under Background Image. It's just gone now.
No replacement, no alternative location in the dashboard. You used to be able to turn it off with one click, now the option simply doesn't exist there anymore...
Anyone else noticed this? Did Brave silently remove it in a recent update?
They still show the opt-out method in their docs, but the toggle doesn't exist in the dashboard anymore
SOLUTION:
go to brave://flags/ in the url bar then enable brave-ntp-refresh-enabled and then you can see the the toggle. I hope it works
