Excuse me my good bitch, what seems to be the fuck?
Brave is usually good at blocking this kind of shit. how do I fix this? I can block the elements but then I can't scroll down to the comments.

I recently learned about Brave Origin and I got really excited. It sounded the perfect version of Brave for me. I love everything about Brave but it always takes a bit of time to disable everything I dont use like crypto stuff, AI, etc. I had always assumed Brave would be even faster and more resource efficient if it didnt have that so I installed Origin.
I have been testing a few days and I'm really surprised that Origin always requires more resources (RAM for sure) than regular Brave. Is that the expected behavior/the goal of Origin? If the purpose of Origin is just to not have crypto, AI, etc. but regular Brave is more resource efficient, wouldn't it be easier to just create a script or extension that would disable all of that at the touch of a button and keep spending all the time and effort on regular Brave?
Since last year, whenever I open a video on YouTube (PC and mobile) it has an 80% chance of loading for 5-10 seconds before starting to play.
I've already tried updating the Brave components, clearing cache and cookies, reinstalling... and none of that helped - and it seems that the Brave developers simply gave up on doing anything about it, since, as I wrote, this has been going on for over a year.
The only solution is, when opening a video, refresh the page so that it starts without loading (but this is very frustrating and tedious to do every time).
I think that, finally, Google won the battle against adblocks and Brave...
has anyone else experienced this?
Has anyone else had this problem with Brave? 😭
It used to let me download content from YouTube playlists without issues, but now it doesn’t work anymore.
Do you know any other apps or methods that work well for downloading YouTube videos or music?
First, I don't like Leo AI. I prefer Gemini in Chrome, and Leo AI is just worse in my opinion in every aspect except privacy.
Secondly, Chrome has results of shopping I really like that Brave doesn't.
Lastly, Chrome supports my country. There are a lot of countries that are supported on Chrome but not on Brave so I get less results from them, at least it feels like it.
Should I use the Brave browser and use Chrome as my search engine?
People praise "Brave Browser" like it’s saving the web, but nobody talks about the obvious problem: If everyone blocks ads, the open internet stops working. Websites, forums, journalists, and developers still need money to survive. People want unlimited free content while blocking the thing that funds it. small websites are dying, forums are empty, everything is becoming subscriptions and AI spam, and the internet feels more corporate every year. Ads were never the real problem. The real problem was abusive tracking and surveillance. But instead of fixing that system, we’re helping kill the open web entirely. I’m not saying people should worship advertisers or disable every ad blocker. I’m saying the current model isn’t sustainable. If the internet turns into AI spam, endless subscriptions, corporate platforms, and closed ecosystems. Remember The open web can’t survive if nobody wants to pay for it.
Hey guys,
Sorry for the long post, but I’ve spent way too much time troubleshooting YouTube issues on Brave lately—black screens, videos constantly auto-restarting, and those annoying CPU spikes on 4K content. I finally found a setup that actually works, fixes the bugs, and makes the whole browser feel way snappier.
I wanted to share it here step-by-step for anyone else struggling.
First, open Brave and go to your browser settings.
StandardStandardTurn OFF (important so YouTube players load correctly)Turn onBlock third-party cookiesTurn OFF(unless you want to log in every time)Use Google services for push messaging → Turn OFFReduces background connections and extra processes.
Auto-redirect AMP pages → Turn ONAuto-redirect tracking URLs → Turn ONThis bypasses bloated redirect links and loads pages directly.
Prevent sites from fingerprinting me based on my language preferences → Turn ONBlock Microsoft Recall → Turn ONPrevents Windows Recall from screenshotting your Brave tabs.
Send Do Not Track → Turn OffContinue running background apps when Brave is closed → Turn OFFUse graphics acceleration when available → Turn ONThis lets your GPU handle video decoding instead of overloading the CPU.
Memory Saver → Turn ONMode: Balanced (recommended)Helps free memory from inactive tabs and keeps the browser responsive.
Open Brave and type:
brave://flagsin the address/search bar, then press Enter.
After that, search for these one by one:
GPU rasterization → Set to EnabledUses the GPU for rendering pages instead of stressing the CPU.
Zero-copy rasterizer → Set to EnabledImproves rendering speed by sending data directly to GPU memory.
Parallel downloading → Set to EnabledMakes downloads faster by splitting files into multiple connections.
Smooth Scrolling → Set to EnabledMakes scrolling feel cleaner and more fluid.
Choose ANGLE graphics backend → Set to D3D11Usually gives the best stability and video performance on Windows.
These settings help reduce CPU usage, improve rendering performance, and make video playback smoother.

This script disables built-in Brave features and background services that many users never use, such as:
Result
Open: https://myadcenter.google.com
Then turn:
Personalized Ads → OFFFor some reason, this feature can cause a weird YouTube issue where videos keep restarting themselves repeatedly for no clear reason.
After disabling it, the problem usually disappears completely.
It also improves your privacy by reducing ad personalization and tracking activity tied to your Google account.
Open NVIDIA Control Panel and go to Manage 3D Settings.
Go to the Program Settings tab and select Brave Browser (brave.exe) from the list.
Antialiasing - Mode→Turn OFFOpenGL rendering GPU: Manually select your specific card (e.g., RTX 3060) instead of "Auto-select".Power management mode: Change this to Prefer maximum performance.Threaded optimization: →turn On (this is huge for modern browser performance).Go to Path: Adjust video image settings
Use inverse telecine → turn onSuper resolution → turn offHigh Dynamic Range → turn offI am using an i5-12400 and RTX 3060 12GB, and I found that enabling these features causes the browser to stop using the GPU for decoding and shifts the entire load to the CPU, leading to massive usage spikes.
Just wanted to flag this for anyone else who noticed — the toggle to turn off sponsored images used to be right inside the Customize Dashboard under Background Image. It's just gone now.
No replacement, no alternative location in the dashboard. You used to be able to turn it off with one click, now the option simply doesn't exist there anymore...
Anyone else noticed this? Did Brave silently remove it in a recent update?
They still show the opt-out method in their docs, but the toggle doesn't exist in the dashboard anymore
go to brave://flags/ in the url bar then enable brave-ntp-refresh-enabled and then you can see the the toggle. I hope it works
So I’ve been trying to download manga chapters by turning them into pdfs using brave. They keep coming out as 2 pages and having an awkward line break like in the picture. Is there a way to get rid of it so I can just have it as one continuous page?
I love this brave browser wallpaper so much that i downloaded this exact wallpaper to use in my computer.
I was on Instagram and I saw it in a reel. And since I remembered the background.
After a while I changed PCs, and then I lost that background. I wanted to know if anyone knows the name, or a picture of the background, because I can't find it anywhere.
Could someone from Brave address the whole secret Gemini Nano AI model download issue? I'm pretty sure you would be blocking it since you remove all the Google stuff, but I haven't seen it addressed here or in a blog, etc. Rumor mill is starting to say Brave is also impacted, so would love clarity.

So issue is everytime I go to 2160p(4k) In Brave mobile browser for youtube video is showing some reddish tone on body areas , wtf is this and how can I fix this , my device have resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels (1.5K) ,
i already tried force color profile to set it to different settings in flags.
Why is that even a thing? I tested it on my PC and phone. It is a brave search bug (or a feature?)
