EDIT: apparently tab groups move fine and doesn't have that momentary "locking" or "freezing" Here's a screen recording so you know exactly what the issue is, also for some reason this issue isn't present when in private tabs, over there the tabs slide past each other like butter, but over here on the standard tabs it keeps locking momentarily when going past another tab
I closed and reopened the app so its gone now, but it could happen again, what the hell even happened
I'll say it plainly, I have a lot of tabs open, so put the memory saver option in brave setting to maximum so they'd go inactive quicker, bjt they refuse to go inactive to save my memory, and when I go into "brave://discards" it says it's not discardable because "Tab is updating favicon or title in thw background" or it's "Tab doesn't have a main frame" which is annoying because one all my tabs used to stay inactive when I opened brave up, or when I relaunched it to update they would be inactive except for the one I was last on, but now after a few updates back my tabs no longer had that dotted circle around them which meant they were inactive, so now I'm sitting here annoyed out of my mind cause my tabs aren't going inactive to save my memory which it was doing fine until like a couple updates back, also why doesn't the desktop version of brave have a "recent tabs" like the mobile, whats the point lf having a convenience on one but not the other
i made a post on it in the YouTube subreddit with these pictures (i did make an edit to them here to make it more accurate) but I realised it was browser related issue when I checked how it was working in Microsoft, I did try turning off the brave shields but that didn't work, so it's definitely something Brave related thats at the works here, though everything seems fine on mobile, just desktop experiencing it at this very moment
