Switched to Brave after years of struggling. Why are other browsers so far behind?

I almost never write stuff like this, but I honestly can’t overstate how happy I am that I switched to Brave. Sure, like with anything else, there are a few trade-offs, but as you can tell, they’re kept to an absolute minimum here. I’m happy with pretty much everything, unlike other browsers, disabling most of the bloat turned out to be surprisingly easy.

I’m also just genuinely blown away. It’s been a while since I last checked out newer versions of Brave, and I’m amazed at how well it handles ad blocking, tracker blocking, and all that stuff. In my personal experience, uBlock has done nothing but give me headaches for the past couple of years. Yeah, classic Windows performance is a bit worse, but on Mac and iPhone, it runs like an absolute dream.

And that feature for watching YouTube on iPhone? Pure killer feature. I really hope it doesn’t go anywhere, but that was pretty much the final nail in the coffin for all other browsers for me.

That said, this isn't just a review. Do you guys think is actually behind this kind of insane performance? And in your opinion, why are all the other browsers so surprisingly bad in comparison?

Xbox 360 Fat RGH3 – Wireless controllers randomly disconnect or won’t sync

Hi everyone.
After installing RGH3 on my Xbox 360 Fat, I started having a strange issue with wireless controllers.
The controllers randomly connect and disconnect. Sometimes they sync for a few seconds or minutes, then lose connection. Other times they won’t sync at all.
Things I’ve already checked:
• Replaced the RF board (power/sync board) with a known working one.
• The problem remains exactly the same.
• Tested with multiple controllers and fresh batteries.
Since the issue only appeared after installing RGH3, I suspect it may be related to the wiring or installation.
I’ve attached a photo of the wiring.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Could this be caused by wire routing, interference, incorrect resistor value, bad soldering, or something else?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Need help with an Old 3DS: Ghost movement/drifting on Circle Pad + lost ribbon cable latch/flap

Hey everyone, looking for some advice from experienced 3DS repair technicians.

I have an original Nintendo 3DS (old small model). The main issue is that upon booting, the cursor starts moving erratically in the home menu, then gets stuck in one corner, and eventually stops responding completely. After that, all other buttons work fine, but obviously, I can't navigate properly without the stick.

Here is what I’ve done so far:

  1. I thought the issue was the Circle Pad module or the rubber pad itself, so I replaced them both. It didn't fix the issue at all.
  2. I suspected the ribbon cable connector wasn't putting enough pressure on the pins. Unfortunately, while trying to open the ZIF connector flip-latch, it popped off, flew into the carpet, and is gone forever. I tried ordering replacement plastic latches from AliExpress twice, but both times they sent the wrong size.

I have two main questions:

  1. I don't really care about the internal aesthetics. Is there a reliable way to securely fix/clamp the ribbon cable into the connector without the plastic latch? (e.g., using a specific thickness of electrical tape, paper wedge, or hot glue method that won't ruin the board?) If not, does anyone have a specific link or exact size/part name for the Old 3DS Circle Pad ZIF connector latch so I don't buy the wrong one again?
  2. What could be causing this drifting/freezing behavior if replacing the analog module didn't help? Could it be a motherboard issue, a short circuit, or perhaps the calibration data is completely messed up? How can I diagnose this further without much prior experience?

Thanks in advance for any tips or guidance!
