I’m developing and testing some rather curious ideas for the Xbox 360.

The project already has a working prototype, offering document navigation and viewing features.

I want to explore the hardware's capabilities and experiment with new possibilities.

- Online features and user interaction coming soon.

- Xbox LIVE Vision integration.

- Kinect support.

- Microphone-based features.

- Continuous improvements to navigation, reading, and performance.

Early development so its not out yet not even in beta.

It doesnt need anything just a .xex plugin and a phone with a web browser cuz the original app is not worth getting fixed so i went with a web app

I have a jailbroken console that i spent a LOT of my free time playing on. All was going well today, so i decided to reboot the console I had downloaded a plugin (HIDDriver) via the Godstix Store and hope it would work with my PS4 controller. That's when it all began.

The fans were LOUD, like REALLY LOUD. The temperatures were not very high. The console was warm, and there is plenty of free space for dissipation. I removed the thumb stick, thinking it had something to do with the jailbreak.

Nope. After two minutes of idling on the dashboard , it happenned again! I feel bummed out, since i was planning on playing all of my backed up games this weekend since i dug this thing out of my closet. I don't have the equipment to dissassemble or solder anything (i'd like to avoid soldering as much as possible).

For reference, both Aurora and Godstix were showing the temps at an average of 76ºC.

I have done everything imaginable to make sure that i've ran out of options:

• I removed the USB stick;
• I unplugged the hard drive;
• I waited for the console to cool down;
• I unplugged the ethernet cable.

None of these worked.

I need help! I don't want to have to redump all my games again :(

I'd like to inform you all that XeUnshackle Ultra Beta 1 is out right now. This is basically XeUnshackle Max with a dedicated settings app that allows you to edit the XeUnshackle configuration right ok the console, so therefore eliminating the need for a PC. There are also plans to add NAND backup in the near future. Note that I have only been able to get it to work on badupdate, but a user on the discord server has gotten it fully functional on badavatar. Anyways the download is on the discord server (https://discord.gg/yKRNSbdkA).

It has some glitches in the textures of some characters and maps, but other than that it's fully playable.

I recently started using a BadUpdate and I was confused with the process of ripping discs and installing DLC and title updates. After a lot of fiddling around I noticed that the processes were quite fragmented and there was not a great way to manage everything in one spot.

I created Omni360 to put it all in one place. You can browse and install 360 games and arcade games, grab DLC and title updates for anything in your library, and rip discs to the hard drive. Everything downloads in the background while you keep browsing, and it updates itself when there's a new version.

You'll need a modded console (BadUpdate, ABadAvatar, RGH or JTAG) and some download keys from archive.org. The setup guide on GitHub walks you through it.

It's still a beta, so expect some rough edges. Feedback and bug reports are very welcome!

after a lot of testing, we’re releasing the public Beta of MODI Pico 2 Flasher X360 TURBO.
The idea was simple: make Xbox 360 NAND and eMMC service cheaper, faster and easier to access for everyone.
Current tested results:
16 MB NAND
READ: ~19 s
WRITE: ~24 s
Jasper Big Block
READ: ~76.9 s
WRITE: ~90.2 s
Corona eMMC, tested 48 MiB range
READ: ~56–58 s
WRITE: ~48.3 s
The hardware is based on a very cheap RP2350/Pico 2-class board. Depending on region, the core board can cost around $7.
One of the biggest things we wanted to simplify was the wiring.
ONE HEADER. ONE SPI WORKFLOW. ONE TOOL FOR MULTIPLE XBOX 360 BOARDS.
Corona, Trinity and Fat boards use the same MODI-side header and the same basic SPI workflow, so you don’t need a different programmer setup for every console.
It also integrates with J-Runner, and the public package is designed to be as simple as possible:
flash the UF2, run the package, connect the flasher and go.
No compiler. No SDK. No development environment.
Why release it now?
Because even if softmod options expand in the future, not every Xbox 360 will be softmoddable, and a lot of consoles will still need RGH, NAND recovery, backup or hardware repair.
