Xenon Alpha Kit - Qemu
Hello everyone. I have been working on a research emulator based off Microsoft's Open Source Giano Project. I've been around for some time and ever since I learned about these G5 machines running alpha hardware as I always wanted to build an alpha 1 OG tower, why lug around 75lbs of aluminum to debug etc when you can run it on Linux?!
Giano was a reference for a lot of my work, the rest is clean room disassembly etc with the help of Claude. I in no way shape or form know much more than C programming and still a newbie at programming. I have been in the scene since 2003.
2015 I had found an iso disc on Xbox scene forums and found 1529 iso. Ever since more have been revealed to the internet. I now have a working emulator for both the 04 and the 05 alpha kernels and 9800 pro gpu for 04 kernels and x800xt for 05 kernels. This is a progress update on 0530 and its gpu and emulator functionalities so far.
