I have finally joined the ranks!
I had a red n3ds xl when I was a kid but I sadly gave it away once I got a switch, but I have a DS once again!

A different problem is that it doesn't turn on when it's not plugged in. it also doesn't pass the post check but that's a different problem.
I hope anyone can help.
I’ve noticed that recently 3DS prices have been skyrocketing but I’m not sure if that trend will continue or not so I don’t know if I should sell now or wait a few years. It’s not something that I need to do urgently so if prices are going to go up for the foreseeable future I’ll definitely wait. For context I have a New 3DS XL galaxy edition

I love this thing, I uncovered it during a junk removal job and ever since then It’s been sitting in my drawer without mods. A couple weeks ago I found it again in my drawer and decided to order some customization and mod items for it.
Here it is, to me it’s beautiful.
I just noticed it, it is normal?
Don't mess with spicy pillows and just order a replacement.
I’m looking into buying a 3ds, probably a new 3ds xl.
The prices for them are not that cheap, but will the price go down this year or in the coming years?
Or is it hard to tell?
So the anologue stick on my 3ds cracked and fell off, and I was thinking of replacing the analogue stick myself. I saw a lot of different ones online like metal and every color of the rainbow. Anyone got any reccomendations?
It happens to me quite often that I play for a while, for example Super Mario 3D Land or Mario Kart 7, and after a while my thumbs start to hurt. The strangest thing is that it only happens with the 3DS; it doesn't happen with other consoles or controllers like the GameCube controller or the Wii U GamePad. Thanks beforehand for your replies

This is my first time creating and posting something I made myself.
After seeing the yellow New 3DS XL, I thought the smaller version would look great in yellow too, so I decided to give it a try.
To be honest, I didn't know much about painting, so I referred to a few YouTube videos on painting plastic models.
Here are the results so far:
The paint is chipping around the hinge, the buttons, and the sliders on either side of the screen... It’s not easy.
Do any of you know if the rom ever got leaked? This was one of my most anticipated releases back in the day and then they cancelled it. Been patiently waiting for the rom to come out of hiding ever since. Been a while now, any word on the street?
Hello everyone I love 3ds, I was wondering if anyone knows someone or where I could get a commission for a custom N3dsXL shell, I’ve put the image of what I’d like, (ignoring buttons of course) and would like tips from people who’ve gotten custom made shells previously
The hinge broke and I went to my dad and while inspecting it he cracked the screen, this was 2 years ago now I opened it up and the screen looks ok but there is this weird thing that happens when I open it(in the video is a clear shot) can I fix it without replacing parts, do I need to replace parts, or do I bury it.
I was playing some streetpass minigames on my OG 2DS and the loading times are kinda slow and I was wondering if a new 3ds was considerably faster
I Ordered a New 3DS ll with hopes of reshelling it into this Lunala & Solgaleo shell and modding it. I have worked on DSi consoles and my personal new 3ds xl once to simply clean a button contact but this is my first attempt at completely gutting a console and putting the guts into a brand new housing. Everything shown here is custom down to the new screw covers. Yes I am aware the top screen lens is in blue but I already ordered a new white lens to match the rest of the white buttons/accents and was just impatient to show it off as I built it a few days ago and just got done working out some software kinks that needed fixing and I now feel it is ready to be shown off. I lost the 3DS screen lottery and got dual TN screens but I can eventually swap one in. The screens also came with a bit of yellowing because it is a Japanese console but with a bit of screen filters and Homebrew magic I made it practically unnoticeable I'm very proud of the finished product but it is my first ever custom console and it is not perfect so I like feedback. I lost the dust cover for the right speaker and you can see the silver speaker through the tiny holes when held up to the light and I accidentally gave the top shell a big ol scratch near the hinge that isn't very visible but very visible to me. Either way I enjoyed *most of the process and already have plans for a few more custom 3ds consoles that I will definitely post the finished product of here if desired.
