I finally got my very own 3ds xl! I’ve been wanting one for ages and I happened to find this one on fb market for 150! And it’s the design I wanted!!! So stoked, especially since it’s already modded! Can’t wait to play so many games :)

this sometimes happens when i’m playing games on my 3DS xl. the game just crashes and this error screen shows up, does anyone know why/ how this is occurring? i got this model on ebay a few years ago and the games are real

Hi, so, I just got an issue with my SD card. Something that never happened before.

I played "stylist house 3" (idk the eng name for Maison du Style sorry), and when I wanted to save it showed me this message: "The access to the SD card failed, check that the 3ds is off while taking the SD card off".

When I left, it showed me the 1st image which says "The access to the SD card failed. The softwares saved on the SD card can't be showed".

And when I go to the settings, it shows me the 2nd image "The informations of software management on the SD card are corrupted. Reset these informations?" BUT I DON'T WANT TO

On my PC it made an analysis and saw no issue with the SD card. I copied the 3ds file (i saw there's another one imma probably copy this one too tomorrow). Also, it apparently still reads the card as the picture on it are in my 3ds.

I bought this 3DS with the SD card to someone, and saw some different files into it, idk if it's linked. But I owned this since probably a year and never got any issue. Did I lose my entire game saves?

Just noticed this spot on my lower screen tonight on my old backup 3DS and was wondering if I should be concerned. I don't usually play it anymore except to trade Pokemon between games on my main one. The battery is starting to puff a little bit but I've got a replacement coming in a few days, not sure if that's related or not

Hello, I come here for help as I tried to play on my 3ds again after years but it doesn't turn on, thought the batteries were just empty after so much time as it worked perfectly last time I did.

Problem is when I try to charge it the orange light turn on but after a second it turns off completely, and only turns back on after I twitch the charger a bit and goes off again.

I also noticed the pannel at the bottom of my 3ds was a bit inflated on one side so I don't know if it's just the charger or if my whole batterie died. I already had batteries dying in tablets before and it leaked the exact same brown thing so I'm worried it's that.

Unlike the final models released a year later, the circle pads on these models actually matched the color of the handhelds themselves instead of all of them just being white. Not only that, but they were also originally planning on releasing green and orange variants and I have no idea why they scrapped these. And I’m not sure if they have all of these unreleased models at the nintendo museum in Japan, but if they don’t, I hope nintendo kept them in their headquarters instead of destroying them. If they still have them, I hope they’ll give them to the museum one day since it was a huge missed opportunity.

Which one do YOU prefer? Are you actually losing out on much if you choose to spend less than the New 3DS XL on the New 2DS XL version?

So I got lucky at the flea market today and my hands on this bad boy but as you can see it's been chopped in half and some stranger (he wanted to grab it but I was there first) told me that it's worthless because according to him repairing this is "impossible" I still went for since it was only $16 but I just want to come here and ask to make sure if it is indeed impossible to repair or is there a way I can somehow get it working again. I have never repaired nor opened a 3DS before so I wanted to get some opinion before I started fiddling with it

Edit: I think $16 is still more than worth it even if it broken as I plan to make a video out of it for my social media channel (whateversunnyfinds) but to be enable to repair it would be amazing as well, so I will use any helpful advice I receive from here to make an update video on my social media accounts if anyone would like to keep up

Bought this console from Amazon back than but refunded it because I was not really convinced. Now it costs more than double the old price🫠

Well. My 3ds that I've had since 7th grade has now stopped working. The X, Y, and B buttons have stopped working on my original 3ds and the battery doesnt hold a charge anymore. Battery if full will die within 10 minutes now. But the A button, bumpers and screen still work. Had a good run with this 3ds back in the pokemon x and y days. You will be missed.
