Hello all, just wanted to have a discussion and get some general impressions on whether people prefer the smaller, more portable versions of these consoles (3DS/N3DS) or the larger versions that provide better ergonomics and larger screens (3DS XL/ N3DS XL)

Personally, I think I prefer the larger option just due to it being more comfortable to hold and easier to see the screens from a comfortable distance.

Hello once again everyone! Here I have a picture of some knives with different kinds of handle materials that currently reside within my collection. I am wondering which materials y’all prefer and why? Obviously there are materials not shown here, do not restrict yourself to what I have, I know there are many more other options out there.

For me personally, I prefer a nicely textured metal handle. Whether that be aluminum, steel, titanium, what have you. Even more, I prefer it when it is coated in some way, similar to how my Vosteed Marten 330 is, shown here. I find that it provides the best grip for me in all situations whether I’m wearing gloves, have sweaty/wet hands, or it’s perfect conditions. The only other material that I have found that comes close to this level for me, is specifically the G10 scales on my Spyderco PM2, also pictures here.

Alright Vosteed lovers and budget blade connoisseurs; which one do you prefer and why? If you don’t like either of them, what do you prefer instead and why?

Here are my budget spec Raccoon and Porcupine. I personally prefer my Porcupine over my Raccoon. I feel that it has better ergonomics and I enjoy the fidget factor of the finger hole over thumb studs. I hope to acquire a Raccoon 2.0 soon and perhaps I will change my mind.

Can anybody attest to the quality of these knives? To get S90V under $100 seems a little sketchy to me. I would think that the heat treat would likely not be proper but we also have things like the Ontario Rat in Magnacut for just under $100. So I know it’s possible but still suspicious.

Just picked up this Kizer Outposter and can’t wait to put it to work! Anyone else have one of these?

I’ve been collecting knives for about 2 years now and here is the extent of my current collection. The last picture is my fiancée’s collection excluding her Kershaw Mini Iridium which is currently in her pocket. You can probably tell that I like a good budget knife but also like to treat myself sometimes. Just picked up the Kizer Outposter today. I recently bought a Spyderco PM2 with brown micarta and CRUWEAR blade but sent it back to BHQ due to the action being bad, having awful lock stick and the blade heavily favoring the lock side despite my efforts to fix it all. I will be purchasing another variant of the PM2, likely the S45VN with black G10.

Bonus points if you can guess my profession lol
