Crossbar lock

Hey all, I need some advise, I have only one crossbar lock knife and that is the Kershaw mini Iridium. I have had the knife for a little bit more than a year. Today is the second time one of the Omega springs broke on me. This makes me too scared to ever purchase a knife with a crossbar lock again. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love it, but two broken springs in a little more than a year seems ridiculous.

Just bought my first serious utility knife, Glock fm78

Since this is my first ever knife and I have no experience in sharpening or maintaining this specific type of steel (the steel is soft spring steel, not a full tang and the blade is rather slender but thick). What is your take on this? What maintenance tools should i buy? Should I do it myself or let a professional do it?... Thank you! Sorry for such basic questions, this is my starter knife after all.

Benchmade mini Adamas blade centering

This is a Benchmade mini adamas with carbon fibre scales. The centering in the advertising picture is atrocious. My previously bought Benchmade bugout with carbon scales also had bad centering. Whats going on with Benchmade? This are not cheap knives. Is Benchmade going down the drain?

3 that keep finding a way into the pockets!!!!

My protech chaves 229 , the templar from tuff knives " Geoff Blauvelt " custom 1 of 1 and the altitude from benchmade... 3 knives I've absolutely fallen in love with having , using , carrying and just admiring them.... for the simplistic tools they are at heart!!!!! Have a great week everyone!!!!

First civivi purchase.

Saw someone post the Elementum a year or more ago on here and instantly thought it was the perfect knife for me. Finally went to buy myself one and had to get the Wharncliffe blade as well. My two most used blade types. Perfect size and smooth feel. My grail folders (for now). Can’t wait to put these to use at work.

In my collection these are probably the two most “premium” knifes. Wasn’t expecting how smooth the one had opening would be and I’m super psyched on the frosted look on the g10 handle.

Thoughts and better choices?

Hey folks, I'm getting a small box cutting knife, and i was looking at Gerber Keynote. Are there any suggestions you all would otherwise have?

Carhartt “Knife Roll”

Looking for an effective storage/transport option for a bunch of folders? Stumbled on this last night - about $25 on Amazon, and also waterproof. I’m about to order a second one.

I got robbed by a dude with a mall ninja knife

This happened to me a couple of years ago. A man approached me in a parking lot and pulled this 20 inch jagged blade with serrations on me. At the time I did not think about the quality of the steel, I simply gave him what he wanted which was my wallet. Just wanted to share and remind everyone that all knives are dangerous.

Help identifying this knife?

Hello,

My husband and I bought this from an antique shop while in Italy. Wondering if anyone has any information on it. It is very similar to the Higonokami Friction Folder knives, but the lettering is different. Can someone please help with translation, as well as identification? Real? Fake?

Thanks!
