A guy at my job started making custom knives. Had to get a couple. These are the two I got. Top one was my design he just brought it to life. It’s has some rust spots trying to figure out the best way to clean it but other than that pretty solid.
Ruike p-108sf in 14c28n steel, only negatives are it’s abit heavy and could use some jimping. Otherwise stellar knife. Quality seems unreal for the price and they do make a lighter cpm154/ti variant that’s lighter
Inserts by High Grain and cerakote by Shinyedc. One of my favorite little projects. Knives are fun.
Came in the mail today. First Vosteed and very impressed for the $$ (currently on sale at House of Knives). Micarta is nice n grippy, blade came sharp with no play, good detent and drop shut out the box.
Only gripe was the pocket clip didn’t feel as tight as I like. Took it off and bent it slightly to have more tension - all good now.
Off first impressions I recommend!
these pledge ph balance wipes work really well for quickly cleaning off any nasty stubborn gunk off your blades. I used to just use some alcohol for the tape residue then randomly tried these and they worked lickity split. plus they smell nice

Spent quite a bit of time shaping and finishing this one, so I recorded the process from start to finish.
Still experimenting with different shapes and finishes, and I’d love to hear what you guys think of this one.

Loving this knife so far, it’s such a fidget monster. I usually don’t like crossbar locks but they did a great job with this one. Plus Magnacut is my 2nd favorite steel, so always happy to get another knife in Magnacut.
Always carried a folder but i recently bought this muskrat in 154cm and man its comfortable. I was wondering what other fixies are out there that are this slim in the pocket?

Vintage Gerber Command 1, not sure of the exact year of manufacture, seems to be in alright shape; the leather just needs reconditioning and the blade sharpened.
