I’m an absolute knife-knutt, I love my slippies, fixies & most of all my modern/flipper/banger type knives.
I also really enjoy carrying multiple knives — which is precisely why I refuse to commit to a “Single Carry September”.
However, I thought “Single Slipjoint September” sounds doable / easy enough — boy was I wrong!
Don’t get me wrong, I definitely chose the right one, the RCB Overall Creek Farm Hand (their
version of a soddie) is really friggin fantastic! It’s EASILY the best soddie I’ve tried yet!!
But man, do I really miss the variety, and I ESPECIALLY miss carrying my (2) other faves:
My QSP Hedgehog & my ABW — both are ALSO sooo good (plus I’ve really become a Ti whore, so there’s that too 😏).

I’ve loved this blade shape since my 1st encounter w/it (an early Cold Steel fixed blade that my friend carried w/him through our time in the Gulf War);and as time goes on I just continue to become more fond of it.
I am aware that there are many tanto haters out there; however, there are also many who, much like myself, are big fans of the iconic blade shape — I call upon you like-minded fine folks to help me celebrate TANTOS by posting up yours (fave/favorites, or even your entire tanto collection).
Leather slip is great; I’ve wanted one of these from Traditional Pocket Knives for quite some time … it did not disappoint!

3” long, narrow wharncliffe blade (brushed satin 14C28N) is as beautiful as it is wicked, super slicey, w/a really fantastic (shabby)point for a wharnie.
Dapper jigged bone scales are gorgeous & grippy.
All the little details (long pull, zero gaps/fitup, blade finish, shield, pins, bolsters, etc.) have been done just right!
Fit & finish on this piece is second to none I’ve owned 😁
Virtus Culter — Fortis
Gorgeous M398 3.5" blade, angle milled titanium frame, bearings (done so well, the blade moves like buttered glass), thumb studs, framelock.
What am absolutely gorgeous piece!! Very, VERY grateful that I have one of these very limited series in my collection!!

This THANG is kinda like a Spydie PM2 on steroids (still awesome, slicey-dicey & classy, but chonkier), w/better action (for real!) & a fantastic inset liner lock; has been carried, lightly cut with, but not sharpened (plenty sharp still); has of course been disassembled, as all TwoSuns come COMPLETELY covered in oil; blade is knicely centered, w/good lockup & no blade play; stonewashed 14C28N blade is flawless, w/one of the finest deployment holes I’ve ever encountered; Ti handles are knicely stonewashed, but do show some very slight signs of pocket carry (a couple spots w/light rubs/snails in stonewash finish (see pics, these are not scratches, cannot be detected w/a fingernail), and would easily be fixed w/a fresh stonewashing; this beautiful beast is a WHOLE LOTTA KNIFE for the price!!

No cut, carry or sharpen; disassembled when new to remove the TS oil slick; blade is sharp, knicely centered, w/good lockup & no blade play; stonewashed 14C28N blade is flawless, w/powerful deployment via the flipper tab (can also be fuller-flicked, but not as easily, definitely designed for primary deployment w/flipper); Ti handles are beautifully milled, w/the most perfectly fitted CF inlays; honestly, this is one of the most beautiful TS’s I’ve had yet, w/nothing in need of improvement — a truly fantastic 🔪!!

No cut, carry, sharpen or disassembly; clean lines that flow so well from blade to handle; very lightweight construction for a descent sized, all metal knife, yet also built quite tough/durable; a somewhat darker stonewashed M390, the blade is uniquely profiled (kind of a modified, stretched-out straight spined puukko/tanto crossover 🤷🏽♂️), knicely centered, w/good lockup (inset liner-lock) & no play; barely bronzed / “titanium anodized” aluminum handles are sleek & grippy. I recently picked up this NMB Chop Classic Ti for a great price in the secondary; I absolutely love it (& it actually has not left my pocket since the day it came home!).
Very clean design, beautiful aesthetics, and extremely smooth action … quite the satisfying knife!

Jelly-Jerry OEM design w/belt satin 14C28N blade, front flipper, back flipper & blade hole/fuller…all kinds of fidgety; the milled Ti frame & pocket clip are in very good condition, and the CF inlays are all in good shape (the one on the clip side sits a little “proud” up toward the pivot, but is very well secured/attached).
MODS: I “minimized” the huge backflipper, enough to become an in-line flipper…works better than the OEM design, and now no pointy shard in the pocket; while I was @ it, I enlarged the choil to accommodate a full finger/choked-up grip; the blade has been given a crude “hand-satin” to blend/hide the lite scratches that were all over it…although far from refined, it definitely looks better than before; great action (open & close); blade is very slicey/toothy/sharp, and centered; lockup is on point; this tank of a knife is an excellent work knife/beastie beater that will likely outlast it’s owner.

Has been carried some, but very lite cutting; no sharpening that I’m aware of, factory edge is intact & very sharp; belt satin M390 blade is flawless & flies out w/excellent detent, action, lockup & centering; the frag pattern Ti scales show no signs of wear @ all, but the spine, backspacer & clip do have some very lite snails (more like a wear patina than snails IMO) from being carried, but no actual damage; no scratches, nicks or dings anywhere on this knife; this is one of the few smaller-sized modern flipper 🔪’s from TwoSun, w/great ergos for the size & an incredibly slicey blade.

No cut, no carry, but knife has been disassembled for upgrades & the blade has been sharpened (to laser perfection).
Rare/hard to find Barong blade is factory stonewashed with a perfect mirrored edge done on a fixed sharpening system—wicked sharp! Gorgeous aftermarket Lex Customs titanium scales in a dark stonewash really set this beast off. Action is so smooth (absolutely fantastic), and the closure is so addictive as the previous owner installed internally mounted magnets that just suck it right down into the closed position ever so perfectly! 🤌🏼
