Anyone else here into knives or EDC?
Probably a random question for a cheese sub... but who else here is into knives or EDC?

Breakfast EDC Victorinox Cheese knife 0.8303.W
This one is USA Made Buck 110 1972-86 date stamp. Now it is sharp, has solid lock up and strong snap.
Before and After. I also put an edge on it. This is 1972-86 date stamp. Still solid lock up and strong snap.
This was my first knife I bought at a gun show about more than 20 years ago. It is somekind of Spyderco bootleg, I carried it for for few years.
What was your first knife, multitool, or piece of EDC gear?
Did someone give it to you? Did you buy it yourself? Do you still have it?
I'd love to hear how your journey into knives, EDC, or collecting started. I have a feeling everyone has a story.
Who else enjoys cleaning and sharpening knives, for me it is therapeutic.
I've been carrying this coin for years. Started for no reason, now I found a use for it.
What pocket jewelry you carrying?
When do you stop buying knives?
Wrong answers only.
Am I right? So, much fun finding old knives and gear. Only thing better is buying new ones, lol

How much gear you carry at work?

Seiko Marinmaster

Benchmade 417

Victorinox Alox Cadet

Toxic money clip

Turner CnC/Trident Key
Picture is just for attention. I been thinking about this lately.

Because I buy, sell, collect, and carry knives, I always seem to have extras around. Over the years I've gifted people Victorinox knives, switchblades, kitchen knives, and other random gear. What I enjoy most isn't really giving the gift itself. It's seeing people actually use it months or years later.
A lot of non-knife people end up carrying or using a knife way more than they expected. I've had people tell me they use the Victorinox I gave them almost every day. That always makes me smile. And of course it bums me out to see my gift sitting on a desk covered in dust years after, lol
Does anyone else here gift knives to people who aren't knife people?
What knife have you gifted that ended up getting the most use?
Current Pocket Dump:

Seiko PADI
Victorinox Mini Champ
Olight i3E
Brass whistle
House keys
Carabiner
Peter Atwood titanium hook

I plan to revive it as a daily active community for
everyday carry enthusiasts who do not carry firearms —
focused on knives, multitools, Victorinox, bags, and
accessories. I will post consistent content, establish
clear community rules, remove spam, and actively engage
members to rebuild a healthy subreddit.

Started out buying "inventory."
Now I have knives, silver, watches, militaria, video games, and random boxes stacked everywhere.
At some point inventory turns into a dragon hoard.
The funny thing is some of my best flips came from stuff that sat around way too long before I finally listed it.
The bad part?
Nothing sells sitting in a box.
Trying to work through the pile one listing at a time.
What's the oldest thing sitting in your death pile right now?
