Customer did not answer door for 300 dollar Costco vacuum. do I HAVE to return?

Title. It is from Costco. Support instructed me to return to receive an undisclosed pay bump. Will I be deactivated if I keep it?

What is going on lately….?

I was literally a 5.00 Shopper for over a YEAR but recently a bunch of customers have been rating me 4 stars and my rank dropped …. I don’t do ANYTHING different from what I’ve always been doing , I bag excellent , I go above and beyond per usual , I don’t know what’s going on recently but this is just weird to me , On top of that I just got a notification saying “You’ve got 20 5 star ratings in a row” this doesn’t make sense

Coolest gift /tip

I do instacart 99 % so I wanted to post here , but this was a Uber Eats Walgreens alcohol delivery to a customer with a French name. .i wish i screenshot it , anyways he came out with such a lovely smile ! He was so kind. .ya know us Americans are just generally grouchy but it’s hot etc .. lmao he hands me a paper and says, “ a gift for you “ so i open it and it was a 50 Euros Bill. I gasped with excitement because I’ve never seen one in my life! I had no idea or cared of the value it was just so cool to see it !

Nice customer even after fucking up

Broke a pack of pudding while in my freezer bag and didn’t realize until I got to the house. This nice ass woman was so understanding and was insisting I did not have to replace the pudding, but I did it anyway. She even increased my tip before I got the new pudding to her house! Good people make everything easier!

This was my first order of the day, and only my second order since Monday because my market slowed down so much recently. I was panicking lol.

Just a thought 💭

I am a Platinum shopper as well as a customer. Your tip entirely depends on the service you provide. It gets reduced to zero if your service is terrible such as yesterday.

Yesterday I ordered not a lot of stuff but I ordered stuff for my meal I was cooking plus 3 boxes of popsicles. I messaged the driver while on her way to the store and requested she transport in cold bags because I live in PHX and it’s 110 degrees outside. Not an unreasonable request and it’s actually an Instacart policy in hot climates.

The girl yesterday not only told me she does not have cold bags but also told me I was her first stop which was a lie. I know this because she gave an entire bag of my food to another customer before me. Apparently I was customer “C” not “A”. Also, some eggs were broken and the box and eggs were wet with lots of condensation. She put a box of razor blades on top of the eggs and when I removed them they actually took part of the box with them.

Entire tip instantly removed and I had her blocked. This is rare for me to go to this extreme but if you don’t treat my groceries with care and respect, I will treat you how you treat my food. Simple as that.

Paystubs with IC for apartments?

Has anyone used their paystubs for applying for an apartment? Have yall had any issues? I’m going to be applying the next few weeks and I’m wondering if I’ll have any issues since most places want legit paystubs from a company with an employe ID number and everything

Am I doing something wrong?

I'm very new to Instacart. I made $170 last Friday. All the other days I've worked. I've spent all day out and not made $100. This morning I did two separate orders for $13 each. I completed each one 40 minutes early. It's been an hour and a half since my last delivery and they've only sent me one more $13 order that was 15 miles away from where I was so I passed on it. Am I being punished for not taking every horrible order that comes to me?

This is devastating and I'm working approximately 13 hours a day to make less than $100. I feel like an idiot and a clown.

If a customer meets you on the stairs…

to begin collecting their items, do you attempt to stop them so a photo can be taken? Do you take the photo of the customer retrieving the order? …even if it’s kids?

I had an order reported not delivered, which would never happen in a million years. I don’t steal, period. I take photos even when the app doesn’t require it, and I put them in the chat and write “hand-delivered”, but I don’t like to get photos of ppl, particularly kids. However, this platform is leaving me no alternative but to do so when ppl file false claims of undelivered orders. Shopper support is of absolutely no help since they can’t provide details and do nothing but send prescribed responses in chat.

People suck. Mind you, I live and work in scammy Las Vegas and have done IC in other cities for months where this never happened. It’s also so freaking hot, I try to leave in a hurry to avoid their groceries sitting in 114-degree heat while I’m doing a photo shoot.

Anyone ever come across something like this?

Just did a Costco order and it went well. The mileage was actually a lot lower than Instacart quoted which was a welcome surprise. However, at the end of the last delivery, the app asked me why there was a pineapple. I thought this was really strange because there wasn’t any produce shopped at all. And I couldn’t figure out what happened so I just said I don’t know why there is a pineapple on there. I got all the items the customer ordered. I just looked at the receipt and found out the pork chops were not on the receipt. Somehow the cashier rang up a pineapple tag when scanning them, or their POS really screwed up.

Just got off the waiting list

Hey, so I just got off the waiting list and was going through filling everything out to get started. I got off the app to grab my account and routing number because I was in that step of the process, and I come back to the app to be greeted with this. So confused and bummed out. Any idea why and what I should do?

so u give me a one star, complimented me on both in person & the app?

i did two orders yesterday, one was for cvs and another was for stop & shop, both orders were done & on time. i wake up to compliments from both people stating how great communication was & how fast i was , there were no mistakes at all. the stop and shop order was a thing of chicken, veggies and some kind of frozen food, i made sure the chicken wasn’t going to expire (didn’t expire till next month) and im guessing the lady who ordered it read the expiration date wrong and marked it as expired to get free free food and then gave me a one star. Now i wait for instcart to take the one star away cause it wasn’t even my fault
