Title: Tibia fracture healed after surgery – should I remove the implant or leave it in?

Hi everyone,
I had a road accident in April last year and suffered an open tibia fracture. There was a wound above the fracture site, and I underwent surgery where an implant was placed to stabilize the bone while it healed.
It's been over a year now, and according to my doctors, the bone has healed well. I can walk normally and don't have any major issues in daily life.
My question is whether I should consider having the implant removed or just leave it in place. I've heard that some people keep their implants for life, while others have them removed after the bone heals completely.
What are the pros and cons of removing it versus leaving it in? Are there any long-term risks associated with keeping the implant? If you've had a similar tibia fracture or if you're an orthopedic professional, I'd really appreciate your advice.
Age: 23
Sex: Male
Height:5’7
Location: India
Injury: Open tibia fracture, surgically repaired with implant in April 2025
Thank you.

[Collection] A mix of smart, fashion, and everyday watches from my collection, how is it?

Over the years I've ended up with a small but diverse watch collection that reflects different stages of my life and different occasions. While it may not be a collection of high-end Swiss pieces, each watch has its own place and purpose.
The first photo shows most of my current lineup. On the left is my Apple Watch, which I use daily for notifications, fitness tracking, and convenience. Next to it is a Fossil skeleton watch with a black bracelet and gold accents. I enjoy the open-worked dial because it adds character and gives a glimpse of the movement-inspired design. Beside that is a Diesel chronograph on a brown leather strap, a large and bold watch that stands out on the wrist. The watch on the far right is another Diesel piece with an orange dial and leather strap, offering a more rugged and sporty look.
The second photo features one of my favorite dress watches: a U.S. Polo Assn. model with a clean silver dial and two-tone bracelet. Compared to the larger Diesel watches, this one feels more refined and versatile. The simple layout, textured dial, and gold-tone accents make it easy to wear with formal outfits as well as everyday clothing.
What I like most about this collection is the variety. It covers everything from a smartwatch for practicality, to bold fashion watches for casual wear, and a classic dress watch for more formal occasions. I'm still exploring the watch hobby and looking forward to adding more pieces in the future
