Sound-What happened??? They lost the production sound

Any sound fans and old Korn fans hear me on this. Didn't their 1st album, a lil bit of the 2nd album, and also their 3rd album Follow The Leader seem to have more punch and balls in the production/sound? The drums sound more huge, and the thickness with the bass and drums sound fat and punchy, and the guitars sound dirty and fuzzy. There's a clicky punch....power and balls....and those are older albums. You could say the analog was the key in that, but I don't know. All their latest albums sound so weak in comparison. I'm not talking songwriting, just the sound/production. Heck, Pride and Sean Olsen sound huge compared to their recent recorded stuff. why as professional musicians can't they hear that? You listen to those first 3 albums...maybe a song off each one and then listen to some newer tracks. it's night and day. New songs/albums lack power and sound super weak in comparison. Do you guys hear this?
