Can we discuss allies attacking you for a moment?

Like, it just happens very often to me lately for some reason. For example here's how my last run went:

I'm Tiki, playing with Corrin and Eugene.

Eugene dies almost instantly. Pretty sure he took three spells in a row and I didn't attack him, which means that Corrin really wanted him dead, but for some reason, he helped her kill him. I kinda figured Corrin was trying to frame me afterwards with the way she started targeting herself, somehow Eugene votes against me. Come the Shadow reveal and yeah, as expected, Corrin was the Shadow. Eugene died in the Moon Room also... But for some reason after dying he debuffed my poor Tiki and then cast spells against me. Like wtf.

And this is becoming a common occurrence and I hate it.

Hi there! I finally got Summer Mercedes after years of failing to get her and wanted to build her. She's already +1 as I had already gotten a Combat Manual of hers (iirc she was in the limited pool a while ago). Showing her with +5DF because I currently can't give her more.

At first I was gonna go for a Teapot+ + Favour combo... Only to realize I had fodder for neither. So now Mercedes' goal is to apply debuffs and status effects at start of her, and then either rally or deal some damage. Is she good to go? How and she be improved?
