Hi, I’m a best man for an upcoming August wedding in Humboldt county and I need to do some bachelor planning in the Arcata area, ideally. We’re in our 30s and 40s so we’re looking to have fun but nothing has to be too rowdy or fancy. None of us are from the area (only the bride is) so I’m looking for a couple recommendations. I know it’s a low key area so I’m not expecting major city options but online searching has been tough.

-daytime suggestions like hikes or white water rafting? Fun group activity for the sober fellas.
-best bars (casual is fine but not excessively divey)
-anyone know how to source dancer(s) for a private party?
