How did Cicada even survive this?

In The Flash, Season 5 Episode 14, XS manages to have Cicada's Dagger throw used against him; she reverses time and pushes him into the own returning part of his blade, which means that it was at its most powerful: directly after leaving his hand.

Because Orlin is so tough, the dagger gets stuck in his chest without passing through him like it does with literal concrete, and he escapes seconds later. The problem here is that, while it is true that the Dagger was not powerful enough to pierce him from side to side, it is still a solid 5-7 inches inside his chest. This should have 100% collapsed one of his lungs, irreparably damaged his muscles, or caused him to die within minutes of being stabbed. Instead he just stands up, disappears for one episode, and returns in Season 5 Episode 16 as if nothing happened. Like, is he now just going around with TWO screwed up lungs?

Is there any lore explanation for why Orlin apparently doesn't give a damn about basic biology? Without medical attention and possibly immediate surgery, this should have killed him!

Cicada's refrigerator remains damaged to this day

Something I recently realized is that Cicada may have had anger issues. Besides that, I also realized that Orlin never repaired the refrigerator he punched, as seen by the fact that it still has a pretty subtle dent, I highlighted it with an elegant red circle in case you can't make it out.

Before making the first of his popular escapes, Cicada was about to finish off Barry after thinking he "killed" Cisco. Why was he bleeding? I increased the brightness of the video quite a bit so that the blood on his hand is clearly visible.
